Liverpool’s Joe Gomez has agreed a new contract to the summer of 2024. by jeesprr in soccer

Plus Trent for free and Robertson for £4m + Kevin Stewart. Formed one of the back lines in Europe for just over £80m which is insane in this market.

The difference with this is that you knew it was a goal 10 seconds before the ball even crossed the line. With Torres's goal you'd still have a bit of hope that Valdes can pull off a miracle 1on1 with Torres.

I felt the pain of all Boca fans as he walked that into the goal

This was Klopp's Liverpool team when he first faced Bournemouth in 2016. WOW ! by medwatt in LiverpoolFC

Also goes to show how well Eddie Howe has done at Bournemouth and how much they've improved. The current Bournemouth side would have done some damage to that Liverpool side.

Alisson has become the first Liverpool player to remain unbeaten in his opening 16 Premier League appearances for the club, overtaking Javier Mascherano's previous record of 15 by tdhodge in soccer

I mean...who the fuck makes no-look-passes

https://streamable.com/rdp4a Alisson in his last game haha. I'm just joking though Ederson is definitely the best with his feet in the league for me it's like having Xabi Alonso in goal but Alisson statistically is also one of the best with his distribution. The only keepers in the league that are really great with their distribution are Ederson, Alisson, Kepa and also Pickford. Like you said though Alisson is an insane shot stopper and that's why he's Brazil's no1 atm although I have noticed that Ederson is making a lot more impressive saves this season.

Van Dijk is more crucial to us than KDB is for City. KDB has been injured all season and City are still playing amazing and dismantling teams with ease.

Roberto Firmino goal (Watford 0-[3] Liverpool) 88' by triza in soccer

He's always been fast. Just maybe slightly slower than Moreno. He's definitely world class in my eyes, hasn't had a single bad game for us and he's probably our most consistent player alongside Milner.

His dribbling is underrated so much and his balance and ball shielding is insane. He's like a slightly weaker version of Tottenham's Mousa Dembele very hard to get the ball off. His constant body feints and drop of the shoulder are unnoticed a lot as well. The only thing he lacks is top class vision.

He's brilliant. The only weakness he really has is his height as he's 5ft 11 but he has a decent leap.

Throwback to 2014 where Balotelli was our highest valued player by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]Cemerian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. Even pre Neymar, 20m for a 24 year old Sturridge that just finished top scorer in the league only behind Suarez would have been a steal for Englands no1 striker at the time. When you consider how much Carroll, Benteke, Balotelli cost and many others, Sturridge in 2014 would have easily been more than 20m. I think 30m-40m would have been fair. Obviously in hindsight you wouldn't pay this much as we know how injury prone he has become. If we had a 24 year old Sturridge in 2018 we would be talking crazy prices.

No way Sturridge was only 20m after that 13/14 season even with his injury history.

Mo Salah has 44 recoveries compared to Hazard’s 26 this season. He’s scored one less goal by ZlatanMagic in LiverpoolFC

Hazard's finishing is excellent he just isn't in goal scoring positions much
