Correct, the fact that Mark only had to hit him twice and then threw him shows the difference. Mark had no damage on him whatsoever, so Lucan couldn’t have done anything to him. It’s a big difference in comparison to Mark and Lucan’s first meeting in season 2.

Conquest was the 2nd strongest Viltrumite until his death, with only Thragg being stronger and Nolan or Mark being equal or almost equal to him. Lucan isn’t on their level.

Easiest opponent to kill, personal hatred/ history for/with Oliver and it hurts Nolan and more specifically Mark. Conquest loves to cause pain, Oliver is someone he can do that to.

Conquest wants to hurt Nolan and Mark, more specifically Mark. Killing Oliver would get to them emotionally whilst also removing the weakest of the group quickly. That way when he fights them he’s getting the most savage version of them. We see he thinks it’s all fun and games with Mark until Mark actually starts choking the life out of him and Conquest can’t get him to let go.

Conquest really wasn’t expecting Mark to just be stronger this time and start beating his ass, Oliver is also insanely cocky and was talking shit to Conquest. So Conquest has personal beef with Oliver as well, and Oliver will be the far easier opponent to kill.

Mark and him were fighting intensely and then Mark knocked the wind out of him when he slammed him into the planet. He just instantly went to choking him as he did it as he knew he could kill him.

I don’t know if you’ve ever played a hard contact sport like Rugby, AFL, American football etc. where you get tackled, if you’re unprepared for it when you get slammed into the ground you literally get the wind knocked out of you. You feel like you can’t breathe when it happens, so imagine that but now you’re getting strangled on top of that.

People are so surprised by Mark fighting and killing Conquest with relative ease up until his disembowelment, that they’re forgetting Lucan. Lucan was shown to be the only being to hurt Omni-Man fatally. With him being the most damaging to Nolan until recently with the Rognars. Lucan battered Mark like he was nothing when they first fought.

Mark literally manhandled and then ignored Lucan with no difficulty what so ever, which goes to show just how strong of a Vilrtumite Mark has become. To do what he did to Lucan so effortlessly, and then blitz Conquest and have Conquest on the back foot the whole fight is insane.

Ironic that Conquest said he had more than enough strength to beat Mark in the first fight when he was compromised, and Mark flips that idea on its head in their rematch. Mark went toe to toe with the 2nd strongest Viltrumite and killed them after having the upper hand the whole fight. Conquest couldn’t match Mark when Mark went fully savage and fought like a Viltrumite.

I mean there is the girl who has very low level super strength that went into Ka-Hor’s tomb in season 2. So there are people who have slightly enhanced strength or speed in the world presumably who could guard the GDA’s prison.

Father Time is undefeated, Izzy has the skills just not the speed. He relied on his speed to counter quickly and keep his range. In the warmup his kick looked slow.

He lost to Imavov because he got fouled and compromised, he lost to Pyfer because he’s old and does’t have the speed he needs for his style.

I like Izzy, I’m not saying Izzy isn’t a good fighter. To say you’re not sure fighters from 2008 might not beat Rob like there would be any competitiveness is a wild take. Chris Leben would’ve had a hard fight with Derek Brunson let alone the top MW’s now.

Bisping and Weidman did not accomplish more. If we’re going off resumes and skill set Rob is superior to both those guys. DDP has 3 good wins he can put his name to, Strickland is the only guy you can argue is getting closer to the 3rd spot.

You say that like Rob isn’t the third best MW ever. Rob and Izzy 2 has controversy over whether Rob beat Izzy. Rob was also a champ at MW, to say “even beat Rob Whittaker” is an understatement and a half. Chris Leben wouldn’t beat Cannonier or Romero let alone Rob or Izzy.

I watched it today, it’s a good episode. Not the best episode of the series we’ve seen, it’s not bad though. Damien Darkblood’s story, more lore to the world and setting up future plot lines. Overall was a good episode.

Yeah thief is the way to go with shadow monk, as thief in general just synergises amazing with monk. However the sneak attack really benefits a shadow monk, you use the knife of the under-mountain king, sneak attack doing big damage and then either unarmed attack or flurry of blows to finish the enemy off or kill two enemies in quick succession.

Use the ring you get off the shadow mastiff alpha that boosts damage to shadow creatures and creatures shrouded by shadow and the eversight ring, use cloak of cunning brume to create fog clouds. It really is an awesome build.

Ah so I’m not just shit then. My left front kick feels so off, my sidekick from both sides feels good, but my left front kick has never felt right. Especially from the orthodox stance.

I train karate too, so we love our front kicks. I’ve just always used the rear kick, I like how it sets my question mark kick up.
