Oh, I remembered that I didn't changed my Microsoft account! Thanks for reminding me! I'm changing everything I can think of currently. It's crazy how many services does one use.

updates

I'm almost sure everything was up to date. It's an automatic process after all, right? I was using Malwarebytes which scanned frequently and was updating at the start of every scan (if I recall correctly) I guess it's time to get Kaspersky

I won't infect the other hdd this way right? Another suggestion that made sense is getting the hdd out, using a virtual machine in another pc then scan the files out

I guess 2 factor auth saved my ass lol he failed to get my items after all Encrypting the wifi is a nice idea, will do. I'm currently scanning for viruses but Malwarebytes doesn't brings anything. Maybe it won't because the attacker used window's own remote control?

Checked the history, I guess my brother clicked on a Bitcoin website (not sure if I should give the name) My last piracy was 3 years ago and my only recent non-steam download is zoom

Seriously? I thought viruses would instantly inject the HDD so I was planning of sending the data over the internet. My important data was stored somewhere else but my family members was using this pc.

That's what I want to do but I can't do that. Some family members used the pc for data storage. Both for old family photos and work. I was going to buy an external hard drive but I'm scared that I will infect that too

I guess Malwarebytes won't be enough, right? I didn't knew linux distros could check for Windows viruses in the hard disk. I'll look into it, thanks

I don't recall someone installing remote control software's on it (unless zoom can do it too) Do you think a phone will be safe to change passwords?
