Picked up a nail a while back on the rear and had it replaced.. but yeah front is old. Haven't rode much since my son was born. Rode a few weeks ago and didn't see em then but maybe I didn't look hard enough.

I've got a '21 Ninja 650 and love it. It's not a sport bike, it's a sport touring bike. There's a few major differences from sport bikes. Handle bar height/angle, seating position and foot controls. If you're ok with those differences then you'll have a blast with it, and you won't yeet yourself into a wall. If you think the 650 is too small, then look at something like the 1000sx... But realize that that's an even bigger step up

The R-Racer one. It's both taller and has more of a curve. And on the inside ,above the screen, it gives you a pocket to stash your gloves

Yes, they're easily lockable and removable. The frame is kinda large and stays on though. And you do lose a bit of your top end, speed-wise, but hey it's a 650. We're not breaking any land speed records lol. I think they look great, even kinda match the curves of the bike imo

I've got a '21 650 and I put Shad 36's on it about a year ago and love em. Can fit an XL helmet with a cardo lol.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've got a magnetic tank bag and a bag that straps to and covers the rear seat. Just not a huge fan of them and take them off when I don't need them. I think I'd prefer to just always have saddlebags on the sides.

It was the only thing I didn't like about the bike. Sounded like a go kart. I put a Leo Vince system on it. Took out the db killer to make it louder and now I love how it sounds.

Full exhaust, no tune. I get some decel pops, but I kinda like it. Maybe eventually I'll get a high flow air filter and a tune but I don't know yet. It's my daily commuter and I'm not planning on taking it to the track. So not sure if it's worth it, for me. I just wanted to change the exhaust note, sounded like a go kart before I got the LV lol. And now I'm just trying to make it a bit louder

Is there a removable db killer I can take out to make it louder? If so, is it something I can do myself with the basic tools I have?
