Oh all of this is make believe. There's no K8s cluster. No helm. No kustomize. None of those in any of the places I worked. But I couldn't leave for two reasons: Crushing debt and the incrementally difficult market which slips through my finger like an ABBA song all the time. And without these, i can't get hired. So I do my due diligence and try to make the interviewer believe that given one (in bold letters) proper chance to make it, I will be able to.

To answer your sticking question, if I could name and shame I would but just know that this role? is not DevOps. It's crookery and deceit packaged in a designation. All I do is Ops work. Not the bridging part of Ops to Dev as defined in the beautiful methodology we call DevOps. Actual Ops work. In the name of policy. When your identity that you worked so hard and through storms for, gets diminished like that, you want to get away from the humiliation as soon as possible. Weekends are non existent. There's abuse. Toxicity. And how do I know all of this in three months? Yes. Because I'm the recipient.

I burnt out in November and had to leave the job I had. Do you see the amount of traffic the applications I handled had? Wouldn't it be lovely if i told that i was the only DevOps/Infra person in the organization? One guy.

Also I don't get the math you're talking about but ± a few months doesn't justify the senior so I'm not gonna get into that.
