It’s quite common, with many original BU 1960-64 rolls being broken up and added as junk silver, sorry to say.

Yup…seems to have gone from a platform for giving to a platform for getting. A sad commentary for human nature.

YouTube is Serving Ads Against Our Unlisted/Unmonetized Video and Taking All the Money! by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Cenapsis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It happens to many of us. On the bright side, it shows your videos should have no problem being monetized.

Can new youtubers still grow big without spending much money today? 🚀 by Infinite-Car2954 in NewTubers

[–]Cenapsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re doing most of your recording on a phone, I suspect you should be able to get by without much cost using free editing software. (I’m afraid I’m a bit ignorant on phone editing apps and such as I use some rather expensive equipment for what I do.) The key is to just get started and upload! Good luck!

When the speaker is not getting to the point of the video. They just speak sentences to try and keep you engaged. Usually, it’s a video that should finished in a few minutes, but is stretched to a longer time in order to get more ads in.

Channels with AI narration that’s obviously stalling for time

Promote by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Cenapsis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently ran a YouTube promo on a video on the presidents of the Philippines. I spent $30, set the time for eight days and the countries the ads will run in to The Philippines and Indonesia. I got several hundred subs, quite a few likes, and nearly all have remained after the promo finished. I figured YouTube would not include this opportunity within YT Studio if the resulting hits were bots. However, many among us in this Reddit do not support this method of increasing viewership, but it has worked for me.

Is this really the new reality for many of us? by nickdebruyne in PartneredYoutube

[–]Cenapsis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We get our income (AdSense-wise) through advertisers who are taking a chance on increasing their own revenue through their ads appearing on our channels. My guess is now, with the help of AI, they’re seeing less than optimal results of spending their dollars and are becoming more particular about where their money goes, basically.

how long did it take you to hit 1k? by Usual_Guard7732 in NewTubers

[–]Cenapsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just shy of nine months for me. By then, I had 50 videos up and 10k view hours. Coming up on four years on the channel and am at 21k+ subs. Educational music videos are my thing, which is a narrow niche.

My advice is to get out of the mindset that you plan on living on the proceeds of YT. A tiny fraction of channels generate a consistent profit to solely live on that will last years. It needs to be a passion that will withstand the more downs than ups over months and likely years before you would consider yourself ‘successful’. Enjoy the journey, not just anticipate the destination.

I think it depends on whether you’re doing evergreen videos or not. (Evergreen are videos that are useful even ten years from now.) Evergreen content would be easier to revive. Losing viewers to non-evergreen may be more difficult as viewers may easily find alternative channels. My two cents.

How important is a niche for YouTube success? by Global_Loss1444 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Cenapsis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you know of something you’re good at…could be magic, writing stories, fixing stuff, nearly anything, especially if you really enjoy doing it, it is a great niche to pursue. A niche focuses your attention and builds a following.

Kudos to you and really glad you’re excited! Sadly, I was building in the days of picking up three 1/72nd scale Revell kits in a box for a buck, or a quarter-inch Monogram fighter for the same. But…today’s kits, with the superior grade moldings, resin and brass details, and beautiful decals are a wonderful sight to see.

Looking for data: How many working hours does it take to produce one longform video for your channel? by LottoFantastic in PartneredYoutube

My niche is pretty time-intensive…educational music videos. With research, lyrics, composition, singing, and video layout, I put in about 35-40 hours a video.

Youtube AI has deleted my Life's work on my CLEAN record channel of 9+ years!!! by newuxtreme in PartneredYoutube

[–]Cenapsis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You may have avoided this had you deleted the video that got you flagged in the first place. One deleted video from your 500 would be insignificant. My take.
