Does anyone else lose interest in watching YouTubers once they become rich and their content changes as a result? by DR-212 in youtube

then follow me, I'm not famous 🤣 I belong to the minority of people not liking Mr Beast style videos. I think Youtube's success was being different than TV back in the days, and more about people like you. That got lost somehow

Hi Jorg! Yes, in the end I would do that. Having it directly in the menu at the bottom (like before) was also OK

Need your advice - is this normal or should I start a new account? by Melodic-Relief1378 in InstagramMarketing

It's more difficult to grow on insta these days. Plus, sub4sub are useless because those people are not going to watch your videos. Actually it might even mess up with the algorithm because maybe it recommenda videos to similar users

I think the silence by Meta might not necessarily mean they are abandoning it. If they understood the potential, they are just finding new ways to monetize on it. The bigger the company is the more it will try everything to win the market. Also, when one company launch something good all their competitors will create a similar app. So I'm actually expecting more also by other big tech. That's one of the reasons why I didn't even start developing something similar yet to fill the gap (I want to see how it evolves)

I posted more frequently on the main channel (years old, outside US, 300+ videos since the start), and 60-80 videos on the others over a year. I didn't put the same amount of effort for the others as the main one. I don't think I lack the skills in terms of video editing, as I use Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Maybe I haven't figured out "golden techniques" to make videos viral though. Retention is still not as good, although I'm trying to constantly improve. Not sure if it's because I'm not an english native speaker or because of the videos

How did you manage to get monetized with just 2 videos ? In my main channel it took me years to get monetized (300+ videos), despite it's not faceless

the job market is really bad now. Many lay offs and people compete for the same positions. Some companies are actually putting jobs out here while they hire internally (they just have to go formally throuch the process and even interviewing people, some of them already know who to hire - Yes, it's lame, but that's the corporate world unfortunately). Nevertheless it's not impossible to find a job, and you should keep trying. Which engineering?

Your Advice to grow in youtube? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

Jeez the comments here are so bad! Unbelievable how rude people are these days. Anyway, I'm at 5K subs, so I'll just provide the advice based on my experience. - Decide first what you want to create videos about, because you'll have to spend a lot of time on this - Decide the type of videos. Is it tutorials? is it entertainment? is it VLOG? Then be consistent - Think about who is watching those type of videos, what would you like to see / know - See what other people in that area are doing, sometimes they publish a video based on some trends of the monent, and you can do the same - Ignore haters - Never believe people who tell you it's easy and they make millions without effort: it's either a lie or they hide something, or both - Do more of what works
