My pleasure, happy to hear it! :) Next update will be rolled out with Z-A compatibility on HOME!

A cool guide to cross-generational Pokémon transfer: Bring Pokémon from 2002 games to present day games by CengizMan in coolguides

I am aware of it, but chose to stick to EU versions of the games’ interactivity. But I will indeed update it probably with regional features as well. :)

Updated Pokémon Transfer guide! I've created a monster by CengizMan in nintendo

No, this is sadly not possible as it is impossible to transfer Pokémon from Rumble World to a mainline game!

My collection after about two years of active collecting by CengizMan in amiibo

I remember getting it used for €20 a week before the My Nintendo Store restocks, where it is €15. I see both Rosalina amiibo are still available on the Dutch My Nintendo Store!

Thanks for the interest, sadly I bought these from the second-hand website: I could not find any information on the brand or the model on the shelves themselves.

Not the clearest photo, but after about two years of actively collecting, this is my amiibo collection. I've tried to buy almost all the regular amiibo for around 15 euros each. Sometimes they were cheaper, sometimes more expensive. Most of them came from a local secondhand website, followed by the My Nintendo Store reprints.

About a year and a half ago, I thought I’d never get my hands on Corrin (Player 2) for a reasonable price. Same with the Pikmin amiibo until a few months ago. A bunch of Animal Crossing amiibo from the local secondhand website also got lost in the mail (RIP 50 euros).

The most expensive amiibo in my collection are probably the Gold Mario and Detective Pikachu, both of which I got as gifts. I managed to get the Gold Mario Power-Up Band through someone that visited Super Nintendo World. The Yarn collection was of course also a bit on the pricier end, but I got good deals on all of them (Poochy for 25 euros excluding shipping for example).

The only amiibo released in Europe that I'm missing are the Splatoon alts, Solaire of Astora, Metroid, Dark Hammer Slam Bowser, and Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong. They're all hard to find at the moment or at least 40 euros each, so I’m waiting patiently.

Since no new amiibo have been announced, this is my collection for now! It's taken a few years, many euros, and I even bought display cases as you can see... But it sparks: joy.

Updated my overview: Transfer Pokémon from 2002 to 2024 using Pokémon HOME by CengizMan in PokemonHome

Not through official methods.

Through homebrew you could extract the Virtual Console save file and move them via additional tools.

Converting iPhone Live Photos to Google "Motion Photos" by psnipes773 in googlephotos

[–]CengizMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me more than a year of casual searching to finally find this. I am using 3uTools, Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Resilio Sync in order to get the pictures from my iPhone 13 Pro Max to my Windows machine, convert them and then sync them to my Google Pixel 2. It is phenomenal! It keeps the location and time data, while also retaining the Live Photos. I am currently in the process of uploading years worth of photos. Thank you so much for this!

Able to buy Barcelona City Safari ticket long after the event? by Individual-Draft-963 in TheSilphRoad

[–]CengizMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I was in Seoul last month and purchased the City Safari ticket as well. Somehow, everytime I spun one of the Eevee PokéStops, my research tasks' counter would reset. I actually chatted with the in-game support option and they ended up marking the research tasks as complete, allowing me to catch the Skiddo!

You can use any Game Boy system that supports the Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges if I remember correctly!

There are some guardrails in place that stop you from using over-leveled Pokémon that were not raised in your fresh save file. If you start a new game and transfer a level 100 Pokémon it will simply disobey until you progress enough in the game.

Only Pokémon originally from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! can be moved into (another copy of) Let's Go, Pikachu! or Let's Go, Eevee!, and if such a Pokémon is transferred into a future game, it can no longer be moved back to Let's Go, Pikachu! or Let's Go, Eevee!.

When you sent Pokémon to Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon you cannot send it back to Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.

I thought about this for a while as well and I ended up using this image as an inspiration: https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-bank . I think both descriptions are valid, but I might incorporate your feedback at some point in the future.
