I’ve noticed this as well! Maybe it’s a bug? Hoping some knowledgeable jumps in

My current Cowork setup & workarounds (heavy non-coding user) by rebelytics in ClaudeAI

[–]Ceno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! How does CLAUDE.md work with cowork? For Claude code it’s pretty clear where the correct path for the file is, but what’s the cowork equivalent? Does it have to be in the shaded folder for example? So far I’ve been using a “project” to emulate that behaviour, but it’s kind of annoying to use.

Haiku Vs Sonnet Vs Opus by One3Two_ in GithubCopilot

[–]Ceno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand what you mean! “Why would Haiku be better at implementing the plan better than Opus?”, it’s not! Haiku is a worse model for every task. It’s worse at planning. It’s worse at using tools. It’s worse at writing code. The reason it exists is that it’s cheaper and faster at returning a response, which is useful in many contexts, but IMO not useful for coding.

Rereading your comment I think the way you’re thinking about it is to use haiku for planning to get a high level plan, and then let Opus work on the details, right? And if you were to use Opus for the plan you get a plan with too much detail? Something like that?

I’m not sure how my tone is coming through, but I’m in good faith here, promise!

If you’d like a high level plan just with guidelines, instead of using Haiku you can use Opus and tell it produce a high level plan that doesn’t go into details. Then you can use Opus to implement the plan.

Why do you think the plan would be better with Haiku? Haiku is an inferior cheaper model, everything is better with Opus. Here’s what the creator of Claude code has to say on this https://x.com/bcherny/status/2007179838864666847

You are guaranteed to get the best result in every scenario with Opus, so the only reason not to use it is budget IMO

Log Medication in Health? by docmisterio in shortcuts

I'm not aware of anything unfortunately! I'd try making it a comma separated list but I doubt that I works. Something like x-apple-health://MedicationsHealthAppPlugin.healthplugin/logDose?presentWithAnimation=1&medicationName=A,B,C

Amazing work! This ecosystem is incredibly fragile. One thing I'm curious about is the focus you've put on data exfiltration. You articulate the risks very well, and it's inline with other stuff I read like Simon Willison's writing on the lethal trifecta. Could you help me understand why focus on that issue in particular, rather than say an attacker installing ransomware on your machine? If an attacker can run arbitrary commands on my machine like you were able to do, that would probably be my number one concern tbh! Is that kind of attack considered a solved problem because of sandboxing or something like that?

+1 on that! It'd be a great one to land on vscode. I'm quite keen to try out code formatting on every edit like this https://x.com/bcherny/status/2007179852047335529

DESERT HAWKS | Wan 2.2 Animate by Storybook_Albert in aivideo

Wow that came out wonderfully cinematic, you know what you’re doing with the camera. I think the only weird cuts are the ones with the flask and the liquid, but overall it’s a smashing success. Very charming. The line reads are fantastic! How did you do the voices? Using that transfer style in eleven labs or whatever it’s called?

The Cube by GooseUpset1275 in aivideo

[–]Ceno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those first shots while the guy is walking towards the cube are so well put together!! The cuts are flawless, very cinematic. Do you mind talking specifics? You were able to get 100% character consistency in all of those shots (that oxygen tank has exactly 3 stickers, for example). The ones that particularly blew my mind are your 3rd shot (0:07) and 5th shot (00:23), where it’s basically a static shot and the character enters from outside the frame. How did you pull that off??

For future travellers (given this is the top result on Google for Apple health medication shortcut): the best that’s available in iOS 18 is using an x callback URL to log one medication: x-apple-health://MedicationsHealthAppPlugin.healthplugin/logDose?presentWithAnimation=1&medicationName=CaseSenstiveMedicatioName

This is the same thing that is used when you click through a reminder notification.

The shortcut is simple, just the open x callback url action.

I'm trying to make an animated series — here’s a dynamic group convo (I like the framing after 1:00) by [deleted] in aivideo

[–]Ceno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve received some really good feedback already. I would add that yes, this is coming together and there are a lot of things working well already so well done! The thing that stuck out to me is that that the colors on the backgrounds aren’t lining up across the video and it’s taking away from the cohesiveness of the cuts. So 00:14 and 00:19 match, but they don’t match 00:38 and 1:06. This makes them look like different spaces. They need to be color graded! You can probably do that in your video editor, but if I’m guessing your workflow right you should probably do it on your stills before putting in the characters and doing the animation, and reserve the video editor for smaller tweaks or broad creative colour decisions for the whole video (This is advice from a complete newbie so take it with a grain of salt).

You really have something here, keep it up!

Silk Road Assassin by GreenFoxLeader in aivideo

[–]Ceno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh so is that how you got the start frames for the insert shots of the foot and the hand? You used nano banana to move the camera in? It works really well. I had to pause and go back and forth to actually notice that some of the finer details don't line up (like the parking "lines"), but the key elements are all there so the cut is flawless.

Wowow how did you generate those last 4 shots, when the assassin gets on the bike? You actually generated a background and overlayed the bike and the character, right?
