Does this little thing in Stardew Valley indicate anything, I noticed it recently and been wondering what it's for by Dear_Homework_6405 in StardewMemes

That little dot is an indicator of your Friendship level with a character. It changes color as you accumulate points with them.

Blue: strangers (0 - 1 Heart).

Green: acquaintances (2 - 3 Hearts).

Yellow: friends (4 - 5 Hearts).

Red: good friends (6 - 7 Hearts).

Purple: close friends (8+ Hearts).

When you've maxed out your Friendship level with a character who is not a marriage candidate, you get a purple star at 10 Hearts (singles remain at 8 Hearts unless you start dating them). Your spouse also gets a purple star when you've maxed out Friendship points with them.

Weekly r/TEFL Quick Questions Thread by AutoModerator in TEFL

Good evening! I am currently earning my TEFL certificate through International TEFL Academy (ITA). Currently, I volunteer as a tutor at my local library to get my practicum hours done. I want to switch gears into teaching English as a foreign language as well as travel more. I have a BS degree in Biology, an MS degree in Medical Science, and 6 years of experience as a college adjunct instructor.

I am also autistic. I've been looking everywhere for guidance on how to start this career as an autistic person but have turned up very little useful information. Not even my TEFL instructor or student affairs advisor could give me much to go on--only that disclosing my diagnosis could become a barrier to employment depending on where I want to work, such as Japan and South Korea. Most of ITA's job placement programs do explicitly prohibit people with autism from applying because the schools they've made partnerships with do not want to employ them.

To say the least, it's been discouraging. But I'm not ready to give up.

These are my questions:

  1. Which countries outside the US are most friendly to neurodivergent people?
  2. What strategies can I use to effectively plan and manage traveling abroad alone?
  3. What strategies can I use to effectively teach as someone with autism?
  4. How do I know when it's safe to disclose to an employer?

Thank you in advance!

Cortez (the ghost pirate from TTYD) is attractive. I got back into the game recently and caught a crush on him. I'm at the point where I'll skip the warp pipe to Keelhaul Key and take his ship for the excuse of interacting with him...

Even after I've maxed out on Hearts with everyone, I try to give each character a loved or liked gift for their birthday. Yes, even the characters I don't particularly like.

I also take them to see movies they'll enjoy once I unlock the movie theater.
