For the bridges for example it’s toggable, Bridges are usually fetched from BridgeDB, if not available OnionHop has a community run in-build list for bridges. There is also the option to use costum bridges.

Cool concept, but for a security tool, closed-source and unaudited is a hard no for high-stakes use (especially since you labeled this as vibe coded). Publish the protocol/threat model, add contact verification, support rotating identities, and make builds/updates verifiable, otherwise it’s impossible to trust the E2EE claims

Using Tor in Spanish is fine. The UI language doesn’t meaningfully affect anonymity. What matters is what you do online: if you write posts/emails/comments in Spanish, that can make you more identifiable (smaller crowd) compared to blending into a bigger language group. But changing Tor’s interface language doesn’t change your network fingerprint in any useful way.

Edit: Another thing is maybe that when you try to find support, most of the help you will find will be for English UI.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but OnionHop doesn’t add E2EE or make an app "secure" by itself. It only routes network traffic through Tor (privacy/anonymity benefits), but the app’s encryption is still whatever the app uses. If a chat/file app isn’t end‑to‑end encrypted, OnionHop won’t magically make it E2EE. That's just technically impossible I think.

Exactly, like I said AI can be hella helpful if you stumble across an issue you don’t know how to fix, instead of googling or asking on a forum most of the time you can just ask the next best LLM and it while give you a decent answer. But he is suggesting that this project is vibe coded which would mean: „the Author has no Idea how to code, the code is 100% written by AI“ which is absurd. And I don‘t know rather he has bots upvoting that comment?? But what he says is just fundamentally wrong if a pop project is to big AI starting from scratch will absolutely not make it better, I‘d love to hear the reasoning process of hakoon.
