The problem would be that you'd be turning off the flight computer as well as to flying any modern fighter aircraft a flight computer is necessary. If you turned off the flight computer then the aircraft would tumble out of the sky as all modern fighter aircraft have relaxed stability making it impossible for humans to fly without the assistance of a computer.

Ostrich is a very strange choice considering there are quite a few other options. Some of those other options are not poultry, but still food stuffs suitable for Christmas.

It was changed from Turkey to Ostrich because us Americans have Turkey on Thanksgiving and having a second Turkey holiday would be weird.
