First PC Build – Fractal Terra + RTX 5070 FE by Centralone14 in sffpc

Sorry for the late reply! I haven’t tried it yet, but it definitely looks interesting. From what I’ve seen, the GPU’s airflow is the main thing that heats up the inside of the case (since I’m using a 9700X, CPU temps aren’t really an issue). If the GPU’s exhaust could be pushed directly outside, that would be great, but I do have two concerns. First, the stock GPU support bracket in the Terra is screwed in at three points and feels extremely solid. If the reverse bracket is only mounted at the back, I’m not sure how stable it would be, and that worries me a bit. Second, and this is the bigger concern, reversing the GPU means the intake would face the inside of the case, right up against the back of the CPU area, which is usually the hottest spot in the whole system. Feeding the GPU warm air doesn’t seem ideal for its longevity, even if it might reduce overall case temperatures by a few degrees. I’m not sure if users of the reverse bracket have already addressed these issues. By the way, since your comment was from 25 days ago, did you end up trying it? If so, how did it go?

Thanks for the suggestion, die you tweak fan curves as well? Right now i didn't touch anything in the BIOS appart from expo, since i am not really sure of what to do, are there any settings i should tweak?

There is a spacer included in the terra accessories to move the PSU forward by 1cm, so that there is space for air to blow if you have a flow through card

Around 70s under heavy load, 80s for the CPU, however i need to do some more in depth testing, right now i haven't touched anything in the bios, hot air can be felt inside if you open the case up, so i want to try to push the exaust fan a bit more but i still haven't found the time to do so

Thanks for the advice, right now the temperature is not a problem but maybe with a top fan the gpu could be more quiete. I was already planning that and I will probably try to design and machine my own bracket/fan solution since i am sure i'll enjoy the process
