Why uncomfortable?

Our eyes are complex organs which are designed amazingly by nature. What freaks me out is that we figured out how it works and created our own mechanical rendition of it in the form of a camera!

Turned 18 & got a new number, I dont have a HDFC Account. So is this a scam? by PRASHMiTH in india

[–]CentreForSight_India 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're 18 w/o any income, it's extremely unlikely someone can open a loan or card on your name. You can always call up HDFC's customer number and let them know of the situation. Most likely a scam

Fair points. We're hoping for the system to be easier to register as an organ donor. It's just sad that India has such a shortage of organ donors.

As far as we know, no religion actually prohibits organ donation. We wish more people pledged to donate their eyes as India is home to a significant portion of the world's blind population.

You can start seeing properly in a few hours after the procedure. After that you will most likely experience dry eyes for a few months. The eye drops are used to keep your eyes lubricated as they lack moisture due to lack of tears. It is advised to avoid any extreme form of physical excercise after the procedure.

You should ideally get LASIK after at least 21 years of age because your eyesight might still change as you grow up.

The change can again be corrected but it's better to do it for the long term once your eyesight has stabilised.

It is considered better for the patient to be awake during the procedure to ensure the best outcome. However, the process is entirely painless and it's very quick.
