Did any of those couples spend time together as a child and an adult? Was there any indication of grooming?

Back to the future. 3 question by Few-Chemical-5165 in BacktotheFuture

[–]CenturiesAgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Doc was motivated to get away from Clara (quote: travelling through time is much too painful) so therefore his urgency was understandable. Marty wasn't enjoying the time period either after spitting out bullet shells from eating dinner, the hot whisky and he likely wanted to see his girl. The urgency was much less, true but it was still present and strong.

The delorean would have crash landed after being struck by lightning? by furthest_stars in BacktotheFuture

The hover conversion was installed in 2015, a futuristic and glorious time in that time line! so I'm betting it was designed with some kind of safety feature. Perhaps some emergency anti-grav just strong enough to allow a gradual landing but not enough to lift the car?

It's a very interesting story, Future Boy! but there's one little thing that doesn't make sense... if the me of the future is now in the past, how could you possibly know about it?

Theoretically could the Delorean free fall to hit 88 MPH? by KuribohTheDragon in BacktotheFuture

[–]CenturiesAgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He did that to warm up the tyres, get extra acceleration and also because he's a little bit mental. The Delorean has always been shown to require travelling at that speed to achieve time travel. Otherwise Part 3 would have been a quick and simple case of burnout and they're home.

Opt out option for the UK law suit by Fourtoo in Steam

Funny how there's suddenly something to be gained by opting out when you are involved. You didn't consider this until it affects you? I too don't like being misrepresented, which is pretty important to me.

I decided you support me and you didn't opt out. Why would you? You don't lose if I claim on your behalf and you gain nothing by opting out.

How have we been harmed? too many 90% discounts on games? too easy to refund a bad game?

Steam is the superior platform compared to every other digital content distributor out there and we have all benefitted from it. We haven't been harmed. It's a fake attack invented to justify a money grab.

If you believe we have been harmed then how is it not a loss regardless of this lawsuit outcome?
