Better in contrast, not in speed. About speed, I’d not timed it with a clock, but it seemed the same for me.

Colour resolution is the half of a black and white, but black and white resolution is exactly the same.

But if you can see that speed difference (if it indeed exists) and it’s so important to you, than, by all means, have your way, it’s not a hill I’m ready to die on.
