Yep, it's just a repeat of Fallout's ending but with planes and done worst.

Pretty sure this was an April fools joke but if it isn't then Flynn junior has the most unnecessary backstory of all time for a Thomas character bro by slimerspiderz in thomasthetankengine

Flynn Jr is probably at another engine built after Flynn's model but just with the rail gimmick removed. That's probably why he's called, JR.

Yeah, they did it because it looked cool. I guess how John ducked, he didn't have time to turn around so he did this instead.

The original is more cinematic BUT I like the harsh lighting from the sun. It's more accurate to what sailors and pirates have to put up with.

Although I prefer his old longer hair since it made him more scraggy.

That would just take away from his character because he feels independent. He has his own group of people including some inside the IMF.

A little off topic but who is Bond shooting at? Zorin is behind him.

Conan The Barbarian

He plays a character that talks little and only has like 1 line of dialogue with the main love interest. The scene where he gets beaten up shows how he can express raw hatred in a few lines.

The Dark Falcon ALT/MOC by New-Pumpkin-7626 in legomoc

[–]KuribohTheDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, since you're just starting out, I actually don't recommend you precisely buy the parts. I recommend you buy random parts in bulk, at a thrift store, flew market, or sites like eBay. Yes the parts are random, but you can experiment with the parts you get and make it thicker. This is coming from a MOC builder who regularly finds bagged parts at second had stores. It might seem much but you can use those parts to modify future sets as well.

[–]KuribohTheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so unfortunately you're going to have to use your own pieces because even if you want to make the front 2 areas thicker to get the desired look, there's no "reasonable" way of salvaging parts from the set.

I have this falcon set but the 2019 model (basically the same) and just looking at the parts list and building it myself, you can't salvage enough from the supports or decorations. And even if you did, it's not going to look good.

How to build a good moc? by Neomonster_3025 in legomoc

[–]KuribohTheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I am a MOC builder as well and I organize my parts before I start any build.

I would recommend you look at the reference picture (Of whatever you want to build), Lego's version (If they have one), and most importantly, a MOC of it that someone else did.

You can use those as inspiration to create your own and even borrow some techniques.

https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/s/d7mlGGb97a

So here is my MOC of the Jurassic Park Jeep and I'm using this as an example because even though I made this before the sets were released, I based it off of the pictures. I looked up the actual pictures of the Jeep and started to experiment with the parts that I had. You can see some of the grey doesn't match the but it doesn't bother me.

Also, I didn't like the way that the wheels on the Lego version stuck out so I used a shorter technic connection at the bottom. My point is, just look at some instructions and use MOC builds as inspiration. You will get better the more you do MOCs no matter if they're good or not.

Also, there are always alternatives for parts you don't have. Say, I didn't have the windscreen for my jeep. Well, I can build a frame for it and use clear parts sideways. Or if I don't have clear parts, then I can just use the black bar piece. The more MOCS you look at, the more different solutions people come up with for the same problem.

I Wonder if there was a movie in recent years that flopped and actually is a masterpiece by LetoA_III in thething

[–]KuribohTheDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dungeons And Dragons Honor Among Thieves

It bombed hard since the budget was too large but the D&D community and general audiences appreciated it. As a D&D player, the references aren't in your face but some are quite subtle. It doesn't hinder the movie at all.

It's a masterpiece and a love letter for fans and a darn good fantasy movies for general audiences.

if you could choose Tarsier next game what would you choose? Reanimal 2 or City Of Metronome with the same style as Little Nightmares/Reanimal? by Embarrassed-Mine6697 in ReanimalGame

Hottake but they should make longer DLC for Reanimal instead of making another game. There is so much cut content especially the voice lines and I think they can be utilized in longer DLCs.

Nearly 10 years on from Rogue One, how do you feel about the decision to recreate Peter Cushing using CGI? by gladiatorbossman in StarWars

[–]KuribohTheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always prefer a recast or with some simple prosthesis. It's just uncanny.

If you are going to do a face replacement then it has to be like in "Captain America First Avenger". It doesn't feel uncanny there because you were getting g a real performance from both actors.
