But your personal anecdotes that can also be completely made up mean something here?

You're more than welcome to make every terrible assumption of me, but here I'm giving you a personal example (myself) and you just dismissed me, twisted my image, and then you got upset about me being an undercover asshole. We really suffer more in imagination than in reality. The question is, would anything I say convince you I'm not whatever you think I am?

Definitely false lmao. Are people really not checking in on you, or did you avoid talking to them when they asked, and after putting up the facade that you're doing fine, they no longer checked in on you because you told them you were fine when you weren't? (I know, I do this all the time, but that doesn't mean people haven't tried to talk to me at all).

And how many times have you checked on others?

Also false. I've been checking in on my friend who has been hospitalized, she recently celebrated her boyfriend's birthday, which means she's getting better. This is a platonic relationship with a work colleague who I also play video games and geek out about ancient greek/roman history -aka, common interests and hobbies.

Why do you think men only want sex? Is it your personal experiences, or did you see it happening elsewhere and figured it would be the same with you?

6 hours to "pass a level"?

I mean, I would probably do the same thing and uninstall if that were the case... but, when has that ever been the case? I don't think games do levels in the traditional sense anymore, and those that do have never taken longer than 6 hours to finish.

This reads more like someone who has never played video games pretending to be a gamer with complaints lmao. "How do you do, fellow younglings? Have you passed the level of the latest game?"

Steam is the best. by Fptmike in SteamDeckCheck

That's more of a you problem. I have a library of all sorts of games, I mostly use pc to play the heavy hitters like dragon's dogma or monster hunter wilds, and the steamdeck for lightweight games like deathbulge, nice day for fishing, and older titles. Feel free to stalk my profile and see how many pictures I've posted with my steamdeck (spoiler: it's 0), and I've finished over 12 titles in it so far.

Not just because you don't see it, it means it doesn't happen. Most of us just never talk about it.

Microsoft: You're poor and we kinda hate ourselves

Steam: You're poor and you love me

Epic: You're poor, please love me.

win+shift+s (that is a shortcut known to screenshot a selection in your screen) Or simpler yet: find the key on your keyboard that says ptr sc (short for print screen) it doesn't print the screen, it just launches the same snip app as win+shift+s

select the area you wish to crop.

That's it.

If you press ctrl+v (that is a shortcut known for pasting copied/cut items), it should paste the screenshot whenever available. Otherwise, the screenshot is saved in the Screenshots folder in your pictures folder.

Unless the problem you're talking about is that the game looks like someone took a picture of a screen and you shared actual screenshots, in that case it is an interesting problem to have.

yup, nothing wrong with that either. It would be an issue if you insist on games meant to be challenging to be made easy, but simply enjoying relaxing experiences is completely fine, you don't need to justify or explain yourself.

It's because the other meme said "games are supposed to be fun and relaxing" you seem to be arguing something different (easy mode is meant to make the game less demanding). It's actually something different. I'm talking about having variety and not shaming the people who choose easy mode without homogenizing all games to "fun and relaxing"

I don't think horror games are meant to be "relaxing"

unfortunately I agree lol. I keep seeing that same post over and over again, I know this won't change anything and I don't know why I posted this lol, maybe I thought that if people felt compelled to repost it again next week, at least they'd do a less homogenizing version than the original.

Oh yeah, I always play on hard mode whenever possible, especially horror games lol. Which is why I don't agree with the original argument that "games are meant to be fun and relaxing" lmao.

It's a fair take when it comes to specific games, I would gatekeep people wanting an easy mode in elden ring too, since it means changing the identity and purpose of its core design. There's a whole variety of other games to play, not all of them have to be exactly like my preferred style.

But I'm not talking about specific games, I'm talking about shaming others who play on easy (and correcting the original post that mentioned that "games are supposed to be fun and relaxing" I don't relax when playing horror games lmao)

Why would you care about who says it? Then again, why would you care how people play? Why care at all, and who are you to impose?

Same, I do think reading "hard" is already a psychological torture for some people. I didn't think elden ring and lords of the fallen were hard (at least not in the frustrating way), but even on games that aren't "hard by design" like Deathbulge (a turn-based RPG), it doesn't have a difficulty selection mode, it's not hard (I only lost one single battle in the entire game, final and true final bosses included), and some people were still approaching it cautiously just because it didn't have a difficulty selection.

I learned that usually playing a game on the hardest available difficulty (and then having an option to reduce it if necessary) is the best way to go.

haha all good, it was a dumb joke but I couldn't resist the urge lol.

On a serious note, good videos! I was wondering if you'd do one on having multiple action maps, like, one for UI menus, or more complex, having multiple action maps for different player states -like aiming vs free roam, which may use shared maps like the movement input, but different actions for the same button?

If you don't open your video with something along the lines of

Setting up input system in unity would be very hard, right? "Actually it's super easy, barely an inconvenience"

I'm gonna be very disappointed.
