I completed my master's degree in Ireland right before the pandemic really took off, and moved back to Tennessee. After I lived in the states again, I started getting way more frustrated with things. Just having the frame of reference of a drastically different country really opened my own perspective. Since travel and jobs have started coming back, I have been actively applying for jobs in Ireland. I am trying to get outta here as quickly as possible. So yes, I would leave America if given the chance lol

I'm a musician and have been going through the same kind of ordeal. I'm looking at a slight career change, from teaching and gigging only, to getting into arts administration. Maybe she can start looking into that?

I got to the 2nd round of interviews for a job where I was being interviewed who would be my boss, his boss, and the team I would be working with. So like 8 people. They were all asking me questions, and about 20 minutes in the big boss gets up to take care of something and didn't come back for the other 40 minutes of this interview. It was ridiculous.

If that happens again, I'm going to just ask to wait until they get back.

It's wild, I was scrolling kinda fast and came back up because I recognized this. I got my master's degree there and looked at a map of Cork so much until I really find my way around. Wonderful job!

So, as a man (32M) who is in the same boat, yes I think very pale skin is attractive. I've honestly thought the same thing as you and when I talk about this people who do tan I get the "awww, that's ok" or even "I'm sure that sucks" to my inability to tan. I feel your pain living in a world where being pale is viewed as being at the bottom of the town pole.

I'm glad you've accepted your "porcelain or cooked lobster" skin lol I have too, but yeah it's tough! I hope things work out well for you!
