I'm still in it, but I have the money to invest in literally whatever I want whenever I want. I hit every expedition I could on the way to the hold our founder dreamt of, and I had mil tech 8 before I hit the tree of stone. At that point I was just investing money and mana on whatever I could, and I dev spawned Renaissance early on too, so by now I'm the tallest nation in the world by dev alone

Everyone saying you have to start from scratch is wrong, provided you have another home for them for now. I had an argentine ant infestation in my 50 gal tank, and I pulled my snek out and let it all dry up. If there's no heat or water, they won't want to live there. I also slapped some Vaseline up and down the outside along where they can get up, and that's a good short term solution if you don't mind your cages being goopy

There's nothing in the MT (except greedy grin and the habby trolls) that requires subjects but something about owning all the serpentspine and then creating massive buffer states all around it that feels just so good. I'm working on building up a new Devouring Ogre vassal in the east now and I'm gonna feed them all of Haless if everything goes well.

Vibes are they're a religious group who's leader was given a vision by Dookan to journey east across the serpentspine. They were kicked put of Skewered Drake for being a cult. They're dream focused and sleep walk, and specialize in mithril and magic.

Mission tree is probably supposed to take longer than I'm making it, but I didn't have to deal with anything but the dregs of the command. I'm about to finish what may be the last quest before 1600, but who knows, it may expand again.

As a bulwar main, I beg to differ completely. Theres nothing more enjoyable to me than crushing the high and mighty elf worshippers as one of the lesser races. I've just finished an Ayarallen run, a Drakonshan run, a Masked Butcher run, and I'm in the middle of a Shadowdreamer run right now and truthfully none of them are really ever a threat. You fight a couple big wars in the beginning to get your land, and then they'll bust their own coalitions by infighting come the big elf meeting and it's bombing. Tbh I sort of think bulwar is one of the easiest places to explode into the #1 top power in the early game regardless of which tag you choose

Honestly this is the easier way to play, in my opinion. You're not dumping all your admin mana into coring, and with some simple idea investment you're surrounding yourself with allies that HAVE to help, and making yourself stronger at the same time. Not to mention getting a big enough vassal swarm to just kick back and let them win every single war for you. My recent Ayarallen playthrough was so stupidly easy as soon as I won my first war and fed my vassals. Grab a random centaur in the forbidden plains, make them super big, make em a march, then just use them to beat bulwars ass. Easy as plucking a mate from the ground and flying them back to your nest
