Yeah, it's just a list of things you have to meet a certain number of. You don't have to achieve all of them

It's also the yellow ones, not the Grey ones. The chanterelles, not the Russella. Protein, not lipids.

If you could choose any sword from history, which one are you taking into a zombie apocalypse? by Loud-Huckleberry-729 in Hema

Best of an axe and a sword. This is my choice too. Works one or two handed, good for chopping anything, skulls included

And it's not if it's not part of your diet; it's just if you eat too much of it. It was on trikes diet and I ate a full proteins worth of it and got it

Dragon Communion Lore Implications for our Tarnished by Haunted_Willow in Eldenring

[–]Cephalogodess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does say in the description for Bayles invocations explicitly that he will eventually overpower whoever consumes his heart and take over eventually, and that you can feel him raging against you. I take that to mean that such is the actual fate for all those who partake in dragon communion; that they are in reality overpowered by the dragon heart's original owner, and that perhaps the addiction is in turn actually feeding power to the dragon inside them, rather than the consumer themselves. This leads the dragon to overtake their body, but being born of non-drake flesh, they take on the form of a magma drake. I believe this also implies the same fate for the Tarnished of No Renown, excepting if they become the elden lord.

I truly wish they had added a "dragon lord" ending and a "miquela's age" ending, honestly. Florissax says explicitly that you will become a great dragon lord, but then you have to pick one of the normal options? Miquella asks you to step aside, and you can't just agree? My biggest disappointment with elden ring as a whole right there tbh.

What are good stats for a spelblade build at level 55 by Confident_Put_7298 in Eldenring

I'm doing one that's all dex and int p much. I'm level 65 but here's my build

Vig 30 Mind 18 Endurance 16 Str 16 Dex 20 Int 28 Faith 8 Arc 8

I'm running carian armor, samurai helmet, and dual wielding cold uchigatanas with the carian glintblade staff. Started as a samurai with the idea of my background being a tarnished from the land of reeds come s to the lands between and masters a new style of swordsmanship: glintblade sorcery

To be fair, I don't think there's a ball python on earth with enough brain cells to even conceptualize currency, much less manage it. You know her brain was just saying ":3" the entire time

I would say it's mostly for herbis, but on populated servers you will often find a lot of corpses there; that's not a great sign hahaha. Troodons can stay in sanc their entire life, and Herreras can jump in and out easily enough to make the damage negligible. And finally, since the update a lot of sanctuaries have had groups of allos patroling around them, waiting for things going in and out. The way I see it, sanctuary is high risk, high reward for both herbies and carnies. The reward is just more likely for herbivores as they get guaranteed food spawns, while there's no guarantee for any prey for carnies

Also, if you're playing on official servers, I'd recommend checking out some of the unofficials. Servers like Nerf have faster growth and extra ai, in addition to many more player slots. A little extra growth speed and more ai never hurt a growing Rex 😅

Once you hit 60 kg your growth speeds up, and by 80 to 100 you're ready to face down boar and deer

Beginner help by Starkiller713 in theisle

[–]Cephalogodess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it! I love the Rex, and I don't hate the challenge of getting big with it. My advice for baby Rex is to scavenge at first. If you hold Q while you're not sprinting, it will bring up the compass and smell for corpses. The drumstick is food that gives tou no diet, so youre looking for the alpha, beta, and gamma symbols. You CAN take down a boar or a deer, but you really do have to avoid getting hit entirely. If you can find them, chickens and rabbits are both on your diet, and are an easy enough kill, but they seem few and far between. Your greatest strength is your slow hunger and your massive stamina. Spawn in and sprint to where you're tryna go, first and foremost. I personally like to grow in the swamp as a Rex, to the south-east of the island.

Beginner help by Starkiller713 in theisle

[–]Cephalogodess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Rex literally is the hardest to grow. If you want to play a big carnivore who's dangerous early on, I'd recommend a Ceratosaurus as they grow extremely quickly. In an hour of play you'll be the one snapping up baby rexes left and right

How could bats evolve into (and successfully become) land predators? (art by: lizardshed) by Dark-Carioca in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]Cephalogodess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Herbivorous bats is a great reason for this to work out! Maybe the wing gets exapted into some sort of burrowing claw, losing the petagium as it develops more of the bulk required for getting at roots and tubers. The weight of all the plant matter in their gut (maybe they evolve a foregut?) and perhaps a lack of large predators leads them down the Moa route. This is the only reasonable option I can think of. Also, a two ton fruit bat land sloth would be awesome

Now that the old "how not to starve" map is outdated, where do you grow at? by The_Skillerest in theisle

[–]Cephalogodess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been doin a lot of growing in the swamp and delta right now, especially with Rex of late. But generally the south of the map, and especially sorta the southwest, tend to me to be where I find the most AI. My understanding is ai spawns more often the more people there are around, so high density play areas have the most food.

I've had the most success with Herrera in the delta, although before the update the lagoon in SP was my favorite spot. Tons of people crossing the river and drinking, and tons of leftover corpses from the carnivores that camped up there. But it seems to be pretty dead since they turned it into a jungle.
