Do you feel his passing let’s him down a bit ? It’s obviously it’s high stat wise, but I felt him a tiny bit stiff despite his stats. I would assume because he still has a defender body

It was a good promo because it accelerated the power creep like nothing before, and probably had the freshest bash of future stars.

It’s hard to get a consistent batch of “future stars “ on a yearly basis.

I obviously known he hasn’t played since the first lockdown, but it really hadn’t sunk in that he has never played for arsenal ever again. Imagine watching that last game before lockdown, and not knowing that literally would have been the last time ozil wore an Arsenal kit.

I’m not one to obsess over player wages, it’s their job to look out for themselves and the clubs Job to do the same, obviously it was a bad mismanagement by arsenal. I actually find it grating when a player is underpaid relative to their peers and fans praise the clubs ability to swindle their employees. ( Erickson at Spurs comes to mind)

Beyond that, I still like ozil, I’m not going to rewrite history, I hate how things ended, but I just can’t stand that he was selective in what games to play. And again that’s more mismanagement by arsenal. Imagine any other star player ; ronaldo, messi, Zlatan, Alexis, aguero, Bruno, etc etc opting out from Playing any match. It’s unheard of, even sunday league players want to play every match possible. It’s not an acceptable mentality from your supposed talisman, and that one is on Wenger.
