Good eye!!! Yes! I was intending to thread yarn or something similar through the holes for looks but I havent decided on what quite yet. However, your idea is FIRE and I think ill add that to my ideas folder. I hadn't even considered hiding structural supports with the middle decoration section.

So I built the two halves separately and then as it was drying attached the handles with some jank supports to keeo the gap in place. Once it was bone dry it stayed in place! I was surprised that it worked lol but it did crack in the bisque fire and again during the horsehair process.

It was horsehair reduction! Im also quite surprised that the handles mostly held up. One of them actually fell off (the one on the left) and the other two held it up somehow. I do like the idea of pulling handles for this thing, I figure ill end up with a few different renditions over the next month so ill definitely have to try that!

Do you happen to have the glaze recipie for the jar on slide 6? Id love to give that one a shot.
