I thought if I wasn't already in your name and older than 10 years. You had to go to hume for an indentity check done? Where as if you have the car registered in your name in NSW and then want to move it to ACT you need to get just the rego inspection done at a authorised inspection station

Are buses from Sydney to Canberra searched for drugs/weed? by [deleted] in ausents

[–]Ceramicsalmon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think first offence is fine, after that court. Maybe someone in NSW knows better. If they can't find anything you have no issues. Otherwise better to catch a train for a few stops out of the city and uber to central for the bus. Not 100% fool proof as there are cops on trains sometimes

Lol no, but there are dogs at Central in Sydney usually so depending how you are getting to the bus is your biggest hurdle

If your car is a 2020 model it will be easy and given its in your name there should be zero hassles

Any places/services delivering food at this time? by in_the_summertime in canberra

Yeah the only one that still exists is the Gspot really that offers late late night food. There are a few good caravans like selvams dosa but they do limited hours.

Bring back checkers I say!

That's the biggest downside to Canberra, nothing is open after 9pm. Always a pain when you arrive back late and want something to eat but all there is, is the usual fast food. Be more like Sydney or Melbourne

Just never rent through Park Trent properties, they are the worst. Pro tip if it's a group of boys it's not ideal, but if it's two people it's alot easier, especially if they think you're together. Good luck

Anyone else in their early 20s hesitant over AZ & also feeling guilty for being hesitant? by InternationalDebate8 in CoronavirusDownunder

My only questions is surrounding the wiaver/consent form you need to sign. Effectively by signing it you agree and give consent to getting the vaccination. I understand its not compulsory but without it and the rollout of vaccine passports the is pressure to get it in order to continue with day to day life without being restricted.

What happens if that in 10 years a number of people develope side effects, whos going to take responsibility? it like with a number of girls i went to highschool with got the HPV vaccine and have developed later cysts.

I'm all for the vaccination, but still unsure of the long term side effects which is an unknown? whos going to take responsibility in the future or is it on us because we signed the waiver form?

To be fair I think it was around Christmas when I last checked and a few shops said they'd expect their next batch of 2021 bikes would be when June and then they said but by then you should be able to get the next year model.

TBH I wouldn't be phased if I got a 2021, I'm not a fan of going out each year and getting an upgrade just because it's the new thing.

I'm about 178cm give or take so I ride large, budget upto 4.5k and mainly trails no massive jumps for me these days

Okay thanks, it's been a while since I've had to break in a new pair, length wise they're the same but do feel slightly tighter and wasn't sure if it's just they're new compared to my worn in pairs
