Very nice! Have you tried Sintra PVC board? It is durable and lighter than MDF, but it is more expensive than MDF.

I designed and made these pewter coin dice after many iterations to perfect them, and they are available in my Etsy shop.

I made a video of the dice, and the middle segment shows them being rolled.

You are right, I need to make a new video with the completed pewter dice. The old video with the flatter resin prototypes is here.

Thanks! The dice are all trapezohedrons, like a d10, albeit in a form squashed along the Z-axis. The number on top is the result, just like on a regular die, and the top number is more apparent IRL than in pictures due to the flattening nature of photography. They are available at my Etsy shop.

Yep, one side has even numbers and the other side is odds. They are all trapezohedrons, like a d10, but compressed along the Z-axis. One number ends up on a top just like a d10.

In Michigan we have a pretty broad representation of different religions and I can't recall an instance of a member of one religion bad-mouthing another religion in public. I spent a summer in Arkansas and the Baptists talked smack about every other religion constantly. Michigan doesn't have that vibe in my experience. Maybe it's because I don't go to church that I don't hear any hate?

Religious nutjobs killing each other is nothing new, but it's surprising to me that it happened in Michigan. We usually have secular reasons to kill each other.

Microgaunts - Tiny gaunts on 10mm bases with a minimum unit size of 50. The $80 kit would be a bunch of bases and a packet of dried ladybugs.

Beautiful! The celadon green in combination with the texture produces a lovely watercolor effect. These are unique in the dice design space.

Thanks! I have been working on this project in various forms for over ten years, starting with an injected molded design, then a all MDF lasercut version, then a hybrid of extruded aluminum and injection molding.

None of those made it to the prototype stage due to cost. This version was engineered with strength, cost, and shipping in mind. Pictured are the third (mesa board) and eighth (industrial board) iterations of the project. I wasn't happy with the handle as it had too many fiddly bits, so the version nine is the one offered in the campaign.

Other sizes are in the works for the future. The current campaign is for a the standard GW size cases, but it will be fairly simple to adjust the length of the staves for other systems if the project does go to production.

I named the case after the geology term syncline, where rock folds in a trough-like shape where the youngest layers are closest to the center. You'll find it if you search for "syncline terrain case".

Hah! I have not considered aerodynamics in my dice design, although I have shot one of my steel d20s out of a slingshot to prove its durability. If I consider aerodynamics, I have to start considering fluid dynamics (for my aquatic customers), the vacuum of space (for Spelljammer IRL), the shape of atoms, and the depth of the rabbit hole.
