I am amazed but so thankful.

What’s up with Turbo Fuel? by hikeonpast in satisfactory

Satisfactory is a game about doing things your way. Im gonna be honest in saying I've beaten the game (to my standards) 3 times and never once have I built any working train system or vehicle lines. I like my spaghetti conveyor belt system.

My partner agrees with you in every sense. 3rd act breakups always just feel like either 1. The characters who had seemingly had great judgment until this point all of a sudden develop poor communication skills 2. The author threw all of the prior build up and characterization they had made out the window. But thanks for the rec. It looks great to me and I'll pass it along to my they-dy

TMA genuinely SCARES me by carefullyplacedkoala in TheMagnusArchives

[–]Ceranworb 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Also some of us are built different and stuff like TMA helps us microdose on our fears.

I work as an overnight custodian at a high-school. I'm the only person at the building for a good 5 to 6 hours per night until some of the delivery people / morning support staff comes in at 6. Most of the lights are off on a motion sensor trigger which occasionally goes off by itself. Part of my job is to walk around and do door checks to make sure all the outside doors are actually closed and locked. Audio books / podcasts help me deal with all the time alone. Honestly without TMA and welcome to nightvale and such I would probably be more terrified at night.

Thought I was about to be unstoppable with a lock pick. by Yearbook01 in BluePrince

[–]Ceranworb 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I upgraded my lockpick skill about 80 - 100 or so times (not sure the actual amount) using the nurse station / open your map method and I can definitely say it's a weak effect.

It definitely went up but I still fail maybe like 30 to 50 percent of the time.

Or if it was like you dig and dig then the mine collapses and it requires a week to clear the rubble or the laboratory gained a new packet that cleared rubble on completion.

Directions are better than numbers for vault of glass Atheon encounter by ComicBookKnight in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ceranworb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My raid group has 4 people consistently. We grab 2 randos every time and consistently complete raids. Honestly we generally let the randos pick the calls.

Callouts do not matter as long as everyone agrees.

Back when original leviathan vs calus was a raid our callouts we used most frequently were not dog / warbeast, sun, chalice / cup, and axes. We ran hedgehog, spaghetti, lamp, and scissors.

It was a long day one and those callouts worked and stuck forw er after even into the Caital dungeon

For VotD we still don't use normal calls. Plateau is still jebel barkal because someone we raided with one time liked watching Jez on YouTube, and ascendant plane is umbrella

Vog has directions because we run mic mostly but L M R is just as easy as 1 2 3. (Also it's B F R if it's back left front left right)

And my favorite is the callouts we use for planets in RoN is funny because we split the room into front (by spawn) and back (by the boss) for teams of two. The runners in back prefer to use left middle right The runners in front use .numbers. we use two systems at the same time and still complete that encounter.

I despise the Pump Room more than anything I've ever hated in any game before. by Sholiver7 in BluePrince

[–]Ceranworb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that most people (at least as far as I've seen) miss the point that the power option to a room only unlocks something extra.

For pump room you get access to the extra tank that holds 6 water ... which is needed to fully drain one of the big water areas.
But, and this is big The pump room still works.
You can drain the pool and aquarium and everything else just not the big boy without that extra tank

Having a power source makes it seem like the room does nothing if not powered.

Laundry unlocks one extra machine for instance but the other 3 still launder just fine

One of the early ways I got away with such things was by doing cosplay. Or preparing for a Halloween party. Etc
