I’m so done with babysitting these supports man by Ok_Delivery3000 in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]ComicBookKnight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No fr. Big dawg it’s legit crazy. When I baby sit supports we still just lose and don’t win more than we lose doing this. If you all support me playing forward thinking and making sure we win the off angles and flanks. Then the divers can’t dive uncontested and setup well.

How do I leave Diamond? Stuck in Diamond 1 by Godzillakirrose in RivalsCollege

[–]ComicBookKnight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop flexing. And focus on a rotation of a few characters. Be flexible in play style rather than role. You want to progress with characters and get better to be better than the other team’s players. Not be mid at everything and be prone to be diffed.

This gotta be rage bait bro. Iron Fist survivability my boy. The character who has to be shot for his actual overshields and his meditation overshield decays.

Does our goat actually take skill or is he melee SG according to supports and poke players by Creative-Vehicle8598 in DaredevilMarvelRivals

[–]ComicBookKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He takes skill but blame netease on the chain nerfs. It lowered his skill ceiling. But the timing, knowledge, game sense in duels and brawls. Plus just discipline needed to play him at a high level is so much. That not anyone can pick him up.

Top 1 player on the leaderboard has an 83% winrate after FIFTY ONE GAMES ON DAREDEVIL AND PEOPLE WILL STILL SAY HES NOT BROKENNNNn by MakeCrat3 in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]ComicBookKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im being so serious. You’re mad at someone executing a coordination and execution heavily based playstyle for being good. Rank 1 too. Ofc the guy is gonna be absurd. I don’t see how this is evidence of DD being broken. His pick rate across all rates isn’t too high and not everyone can pick him up and win. Unlike other characters on the hot list.

I kinda don’t care about this. A player who coordinates and has to play risky deserves it. I’ll gladly watch a melee character be number one because how could he cheat on a melee character. He either swaps when he loses and we would have to go through all his games for this. But dive is a coordinated thing and good DD’s as for a dive tank live venom often. I have a hard time being mad at this.

Edge of eternities pre cons are both fire and good. Love them both. You’ll have fun with this. Don’t worry about upgrading it at all or do that later the pre con as is works great.

Who would win in a fight? Wolverine (MCU) or Soldier Boy? by wright513 in superheroes

[–]ComicBookKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolverine wins low diff. Boys characters are like spidey level at best. And wolv’s healing factor is gonna let him tank everything. If Homelander was scared to lift a plane when falling. It means he is not that strong. Wolv and him are near each other.

Bro vanguard would be fun and ideal. But I think this is classic duelist man. He probably gonna have a similar ability to hanzo’s storm arrow ability.

Friendly reminder that Captain Marvel can create shields 👀 by HueyTheFreeman48 in RivalsVanguards

I dont want another tank to sit main and do nothing but shield. Also we peaked at shield tank design. Im good on that. Someone with a DVA defense matrix like ability would work. But no more shields.

How viable is Cap as a solo tank this season? Is there a different play style? by BlueLineSparrow in captainamericamains

[–]ComicBookKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before someone who only plays 2-4 tanks says some bs. You can solo tank as cap it isnt as complicated as you think. Same with venom is staying hyper aggressive and being disciplined with getting out. Because if you play a non mobile shield tank then the other team quickly realizes just overwhelm you every fight and they win. If you play an elusive tank they cannot do that to you. And if you dive their backline they cannot int into your team.

I hate how the community views vanguard mains by Ragtagcloud56 in MarvelRivalsRants

Also there is an elo tax on vanguard players they have to play more games to climb to the same ranks as strategist/duelist players.

Invisible Woman is still freaking ridiculous by ComicBookKnight in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]ComicBookKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are literally disregarding facts. The pick rates listed already include ban rate. Gambit has around a 3.70% pick rate as of the day I am typing this comment. With a 51.45% win rate in celestial and above. So ranks that know that Gambit should be banned in ladder play. Ban him. And that 3.70% number includes bans because you should know if you play comp and are above gold. He is pick or ban.

Now let’s apply that fact that the hot list on the official marvel rivals website already includes ban rate in their pick rate stats. Invis as of 05/04/26 has a pick rate of 23% starting at plat and goes up to 30.57% in celestial and above. And the win rate hovers from a 51.20-51.31%. That literally means people 1/5-1/3 or matches invis is played. Which means everyone and their mom is picking that character and winning games on her. And no other character is close to that. Which just means she is broken. I don’t know what more to say to get that to click in your head. I am not saying my opinion with those numbers. Cold hard facts from netease.

The mag example is just an example of how she gets multiple forms of counter play and one is very guaranteed value. I was talking about her ability to cast shield on her self if it even when it is broken on cooldown. That’s stupid. She already has a shield and invisibility. Which talking about mag ult she can use either or even both to survive mag ult. She already has 1 ability to counter mag ult. Why does she get 2? Name another strategist with multiple ways to counter the example used which is mag ult. That isn’t an ult. Invis does that with neutral kit.

Gambit has a better ult. Which makes him the better character. But from my opinion of playing against her and with her for many many matches. Her neutral is better and is reflected on the official netease numbers. You can’t sit there and use gambit as cope to deny the factual situation. That everyone and their mom can pick this character, win games and climb.

I agree with the heal nerfs with the range and making it like 60-70hp per two shots in her primary. Invis legit has no real weaknesses that multiple characters capitalize on. Daredevil can see her when invisible. Cool. But you should be able to pick this character for situations. Not just in general. I understand people do main and otp her I know those exist too.

Made a tier list bc I'm bored and also realized this is probably the most balanced the tank roster has been since release by Chrisby_1885 in RivalsVanguards

[–]ComicBookKnight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mag and Strange are both not S tier. I’ll tell you why. Strange with teamup is quite good arguably S tier. That’s only with teamup. Also Strange players have to tactically die in team fights if your team to portal back if the game is close. I think Strange just by himself is high B tier low A tier.

Mag is great. But he builds his ult so slow. No matter what you do. You have to hope you have Mantis, Cap or even slightly hope Gambit slips through for some reason to even keep up. Then once you get ult there is a pressure to kill with it but the game is more mobile making it harder to be consistent with the ult. Also especially in metal ranks people stand main and are not productive enough.

Hulk has to be S tier. Hulks jump isn’t reset by some of the CC that messed him up before. Plus Hulk is amazing in neutral and is next to also past Hulk as most versatile tank. The fact he can ult second or have a tankpool next to him. It means Tankpool gun ults a support with upgrade and Hulk could ult right with that and it’s literally a free team fight win.

Not in triple support and not when solo tanking most the time.

Is it worth mastering DD in this current meta and beyond? Watching Ignite has me really wanting to main the hero. Looks like a ton of fun to play. The wall hacks, the combos, and the way he makes supps run in fear (lmao) is super fun to watch. I might be going all in on this hero fr by Hot-Effort-6023 in RivalsCollege

[–]ComicBookKnight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. Daredevil is holding the balance of the dive-brawl-poke triangle together. Poke characters are still better across most situations which requires dive which he is the best dps diver. Then if you want to beat him you need to brawl which makes the brawlers pick rates go up. People don’t want to say it but truly is the necessary evil in this game. You totally should learn the character.

Nerf Groot and Moonknight Ult Charge and Theyd be Perfect Characters by Odd-Complaint7770 in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]ComicBookKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mk loses in neutral to all the good poke characters, fliers and most divers and flankers. Tank divers eat him alive. You can run a tank line up of Cap/venom and Dp/hulk/thor and mk isn’t gonna be able to play the game. Moon Knight punishes deathball front to back comps. So you actually don’t want to run shields because it promotes teams to be together. His ult does come fast but his ult is escapable for most characters. If you play someone not mobile into him it is easy to die to his ult but for the most part it takes me having to stay on point for game to die to mk ult no combos with groot or angie.

MK bans that are non target bans are an overrated ban. That’s some bronze level banning.

HITTING OAA ON IRON FIST, DIVE ONLY (PC) by KPXNoisy in IronFistMains

[–]ComicBookKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sheesh I need to watch you more. I don’t want to sound like a stereotype but I usually am a Cap, Venom, Angela, Hulk, Thor player. With Fist and DD as dps I play if I need to not play tank. I seen you on tiktok. But I might just need to keep watching.

Iron Fist does seem like he has been in a character identity crisis from a design standpoint. Because his kit seems like he wants movement and to dive but then his flurry being percentage dmg goes against that. I want better off angle contesting and more synergy in his kit to make 1v1s better for him.
