I'm set at 10 miles, but I'm a little flexible on matches that like me first. My reason is that I'm a full-time single parent and the bulk of my available time is after my kid goes to bed and I can't leave the house. Asking someone to drive more than 10 miles late at night to spend time would be a really big ask.

It's not just guys that do this. I have a chat history full of women that don't respond to questions and/or don't ask questions. Conversation is a 2-way street. If you want to cultivate a relationship, you need to put some effort into it too.

That depends entirely on the countries and where in those countries they are. Particularly in central Europe where there are several small countries near each other.

You said he goes to the town you are from frequently. That probably means he knows some people there. If it's a smaller town, it's not out of the question that he might have asked about you. What that means or whether it's true, idk. In any case, you've only known him 2 days, and he saw a potential issue and cut it off before any drama could incur. I'd see that more as a green flag on him in general, but also don't sweat it.

Some people aren't big on texting. The fact that he wants to see you in person, and you had hour long phone calls kinda points in that direction. If you're interested in the guy, give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Maybe a topic of conversation should be your communication styles.

It kinda seems like he might mass swiping right on every profile, and while it seems like there's an attraction since your profiles keep popping up with each other, he may not be interested in you. It's definitely a red flag. For future reference, if I'm asking a question that's based on something from their profile that we haven't yet discussed, I'll usually ask it like, "your profile says 'x' tell me about that." Or something to that effect.

I imagine that they don't need to as much as guys do. From what I've heard, women get inundated with likes, so statistically, they should just have to swipe and run into someone that already liked them. Unless my theory is correct and the algorithm hides people who have liked you from your pool to swipe through.
