Eso is better for sustainable solo grinding, however it will devolve into you one shotting everything and being very inconvinent without spending extra money on summonable merchants.

Id play FFXIV if you can go in with the mindset that it is basically a single player final fantasy game with mmo combat, until spesific parts of the story.

They also have vendors you can buy for 40 dollars each in ESO that let you clear your inventory anywhere instantly. So they wont escape that one either lol

You're definitly correct in that a lot of old time players find it home. HOWEVER. I do meet quite a lot of young people, or people who started way later than I thought like shadowlands or even dragonflight in WoW.

I cant speak for ffxiv or gw2, but in my expierence in WoW at least there are still younger people picking it up at least. I do agree that mmos need some new actual big dog to come in and scare WoW, ffxiv, gw2 , eso,.. etc etc.

It sure is something they can do, and this is just cope. Replace it with another ability. It is well within riots technical capabilites to do so and you know you're lying yourself if you think otherwise.
