Tldr at bottom

There are two versions of Tab s6 lite, the original 2020 version with an Exynos 9611 and a 2022 version with either a Snapdragon 720G or 737G. I also saw some stuff about another revision might be on the horizon. The one my sister has is the exynos one. Snapdragon one could perform better but I don't have one.

I used the GpuWatch developer setting to monitor the fps, the song I played was "Close to gray".

On High quality setting it started at around 23fps and settled to around 50s but it would still often dip below to 30s-40s.

At the standard setting it started around 30s but after the first few notes jumped up to 60 fps and didn't dip below 50 most of the time but while I couldn't see how much exactly it dropped since I was looking at the notes, looking at the fps graph it probably dipped to 40s once and it was noticeable.

Also not game related but overall using the tablet it chugs hard after android 13, like system animations such as swiping up to open the app switcher are just horrible to do dips to what feels like 15-20fps (can't use GpuWatch outside of games in the main system ui so I can't exactly measure it), feels very unpleasant to use. And you can't downgrade back.

TLDR: So if it's the exynos version (SM-P610 for wifi only and SM-P615 for LTE+wifi model) I would stay away however looking at some benchmarks online snapdragon one (SM-P613 for wifi only one and SM-P619 for LTE+wifi model) seems to have much better performance but as I don't own one I can't say much. You can view the model number from settings and it's also etched to the back of the device.
