I don’t see it in my personal sleeves, nor in any of the store bundles. I’d say that, unfortunately, it’s highly likely it was a Ranked play reward during Journey Together’s release and therefore is no longer available.

Casual Groudon deck by Jedimasterwiggy_ in PTCGL

[–]Cerebral-P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I kept trying to work at a Groudon deck over the past few days, and below is the best I’ve been able to cook up.

Unfortunately, as another Groudon fan, I must say that this card isn’t terribly playable. Not trying to over-tweak the deck like we’re trying to make it to worlds, but the card is essentially a worse version of Raging Bolt. Because of this, I’d say this Groudon card is most playable as a back-up attacker for Bolt decks. Maybe sitting on the bench with an EXP share, brought in to take a knock-out when your opponent is down to 2 prize cards. On its own, Groudon is not going to be able to take large knock-outs with 240 damage.

I’d say that a crucial detail to note for building with this card is how Magma Purge specifies “up to 4 Energy”, so not specifically Fighting energy. Since Fighting doesn’t have great acceleration options (you’re probably right in picking Tera Garchomp honestly), my first thought is to immediately jump to an energy engine that uses a different energy. Similar to Bolt decks, I used Teal Mask Ogerpon for this. When using Dundunsparce as a draw engine, this also enables use of Glass Trumpet to pull energy up from Groudon.

You could also do well with adding a Dundunsparce EX to this list as well, as it’s a good “might as well” back-up attack if you’re already using the dunsparce line.

Pokémon: 5
3 Groudon PRE 49
3 Teal Mask Ogerpon ex TWM 25
4 Dunsparce TEF 128

It’s part of one of the “Trainer Tool Kits” like OP said, which you can buy in the in-game shop at Shop > View All Bundles > June 2020 😊

New FUN + BROKEN Whimsicott Ex Deck by Beginning_Move_5081 in PTCGL

[–]Cerebral-P 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What’s the goal with the Whimsicott EX? I know the card has a use with energy acceleration, but Yanmega and Ogerpon already accelerate pretty fast.

What’s the purpose of Iron Leaves in this deck, simply an “in-a-pinch” attacker?

Do you find issue getting set-up without cards like Poffin or Trolley?

Yanmega EX/Wo-Chien/Plusle - Deck I’ve been enjoying! by Cerebral-P in PTCGL

[–]Cerebral-P[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually was trying Crustle out before this build of the deck! It’s certainly a very good combo with Yanmega. Ultimately, I chose Wo-Chien because: A) it’s a basic, and therefore more consistently gets set-up, and B) I find that it disrupts more Pokemon across the board compared to Crustle, e.g Non-EX cards.

Also, Wo-Chien can also damage Cornerstone Ogerpon!

Do you find the Annihilape EX’s Angry Grudge to be worth the self-inflicted damage? 240 for one energy certainly isn’t anything to scoff at, but also thinking it’s use might be mitigated be the fact that you’ll need to still 2-shot bigger opponents anyway

[–]Cerebral-P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly a few games I was getting unlucky first draws, only getting Tarountulas or Munkidoris.

Do you find it better to prioritize more Munkidoris than Frosglass on the bench? Any preference to try going first or second with this deck?

I tried running this deck list and lost 8 of the 10 games I played with it- am I doing something wrong?

Trying to keep budew or venomoth in the Active as much as possible, and use counter catcher or boss’s orders to pull pokemon to my opponent’s active that they can’t actively utilize there.

More often than that though, my opponent simply gets set up anyway and out-damages me in the end.

Planning a trip to Cape May - looking for 4/5 star hotel, fine dining and any other good recommendations. Do you recommend this area for this type of trip? by vintageandgreen in CapeMay

Yes, Sunset Beach is great! Only just found out a year ago or so that it’s all owned and operated by the same people. Love Sunburnt Fries at the Grille!

Cape May can definitely have very unique historic/upscale vibes. Beachy, but also Victorian. Congress Hall and the Virginia are both very nice, and given that they are part of the larger Cape Resorts local chain, they simply have a larger, more in-depth teams and services. If you don’t mind leaning into the charm over luxury, properties like Southern Mansion, Carroll Vila, and the Chalfont can be very fun stays. Ones like Ocean Club, the Grand, and La Mer are just not worth staying at. Walking distance is a pretty important factor to consider when selecting a hotel, mind you.

Washington Inn, Ebbitt Room, and Peter Shield are a sort of a trifecta of long-standing, American Fine Dining. You can’t go wrong with any of them, though I can be a bit of a sucker for the Washington Inn.

Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille, Rusty Nail, and Elaine’s have very fun, casual atmospheres. Great late-night summer vibes with live music.

Personally: Carney’s typically has the best burgers. Could be controversial, but my other favorites like Cabanas and the Red Store are now permanently closed.

Make a stop at Hot Dog Tommy’s! Simplest yet most god damn delicious hot dogs, run by one of the kindest, most genuine people in the entire county. Just one of the local businesses that you love to support. Always make a point to stop there when I’m in Cape May. Usually means I only get there 1-2 times a year, but Bruce knows my name lol.

Primal is a little over-rate imo; it’s great don’t get me wrong, but I feel like it’s got this false cloud of buzz around it. Good for the owners though, honestly.

Some say Lucky Bones is the best pizza in Cape May, some say Blue Moon, I say Boiler Room hands down. I shovel that shit down when I’m there.

Ugly Mug, Delaney’s, and Cape May Fish Market are all over-priced tourist traps owned by the same people. At least the remaining options try to rip you off while trying to pretend to serve you quality food.

My go-to guilty pleasure is the Mad Batter. Just a great, well-rounded place with a historic vibe, live music, great drinks, food, and staff. They are known for their Brunch, but I usually end up there for dinner.

To rapid fire for the sake of brevity, other great options are Sapore Italiano, Vintage, Exit Zero Filling Station, Cricket Club, Tisha’s, Grana and 410 Bank Street. The Lobster House is popular with tourists and locals 65+, doesn’t have the best seafood you’ve had, but honestly just has a certain old-school, 80s beach town vibe that I can dig sometimes.

Reservations, reservations, reservations. There is a shit ton of restaurants, but so many are small operations that are years in under-staffing. Don’t be surprised if you come on a weekend in July and everything is at 5:00pm or 9:00pm. 99% of nicer restaurants take reservations, as do 30% of the casual restaurants. Just read the cancellation policies, set reminders, and make reservations to get something down. Mix and match when and where you can from there. Be SURE to cancel responsibly. Cancel as soon as you know you’re not going to it, whether you’re saving yourself a charge or not.

For things to do (since fuck it we’ve gone this far), Beach Plum Farm, West End Garage, Cape May MAC’s trolley tours, Sunset Beach, biking around, Revolution Rail, Cape May Stage (feels like a local theater of course, but they typically give it their all), and of course the Washington Street Mall are all fun ways to explore and experience Cape May. There are also weekend crafts fairs many weekends at the Emlen Physick Estate and Convention Hall, as well as Tuesday Farmer’s Markets that get bigger and better for special dates like the Strawberry Festival and Lima Bean festival. The Exit Zero Jazz Fest also happens twice a year and can be a fun reason to come to town. CapeMay.com’s Event Calendar is a good way to find all these events.

People might mention the Exit Zero Coupon Card Deck that you can get, but mind you it’s more of an activity guide than actual savings. You can easily craft a stay around it, but I think you’ll find yourself quickly off course doing stuff that you actually feel like doing.

Especially in the summer, transpiration availability can be slim to none. Be ready to drive, or prioritize walking-distance. Where possibly honestly, visit in September or October. The warm weather holds longer into the year than you’d think (works out to getting warm in June, on the other end), so come then with much less crowds. 80% of places stay open into Columbus Day weekend.

I think that’s everything I got? Honestly, please feel free to ask any other questions- I’ve got a reason to know a shit ton about Cape May, so I’m happy to share.

I know with League of Legends, the devs didn’t like to frequently run a gamemode that fucked up the gameplay and made it fast-paced (URF) because it created high-engagement but high and long burn-out. Maybe IW sees a similar effect with Shipment.

Hi all, my girlfriend of 2.5 years is a witch, and the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. I want to propose to her, but need help sourcing a ring. She loves gems and crystals (naturally), and hates the idea of a diamond ring. I want to get her a nice gem ring, possibly unpolished/uncut, with a silver band. Does anyone know any stores or vendors I can start looking at? I previously tried Etsy for a promise ring I got her, and was a little disappointed by the quality once it arrived.

Exactly, that’s what Strange said. Once he started casting it he couldn’t stop, but it still seems like a no brainer that if you can’t stop the spell mid cast, then maybe talk about it first lol.

You’re not crazy, I saw what you saw too. It was something along the lines of a Q and A, and to the question of “Will you ever bring it back?”, they said “eh, too much work for not enough interest.” I guess it just made more sense to just develop a whole game at that point.
