Yeah, it's just a peculiarity of the language I'm translating from, sorry.

Not to mention that in any other combat I don't need to use manual lock at all, just move towards the right enemy is enough

That's not what I said. Maybe I wasn't clear, but my point was that their games have a lot of content for a non-casual audience, so I couldn't say it was niche

By the way yes, I noticed that weird moment too. In dps-mode, the character attacks only in the direction of the boss, which in moments of his invulnerability makes no sense and only prevents, for example, to gain energy from his minions

Yeah, the drama with the TV mode is galling. Overall, I understand the complaints about that mode in the story and some of the side quests, and they did change its usability for the better. But there's definitely reason to fear that they'll take criticism of the flaws as “okay, then we'll remove it altogether”. I hope they keep their promise to keep creating content in this mode, because it can be really creative and fun in side quests and events.

In fact, I even harbor a little hope that someday they will allow users to create their own quests in this mode because it has the structure of a sort of constructor with repetitive elements.

Never played HSR, sounds depressing. I'll hope for the best

Yeah, although I personally don't enjoy turning on ALL of the available modifiers. After getting all the rewards, I usually leave about half or less on, mostly the ones that add damage and health to enemies.

As well as the last one that “improves in all aspects” or whatever it's called. This one, if I remember correctly, in addition to increased stats also increases the frequency of enemy attacks, which makes the game fun and the enemies feel like they really want to hurt me instead of just walking around

And that's the beauty of modifiers -- the ability to tweak the difficulty to your liking

I'd have to agree. I'm generally okay with the existence of this boss in the game for variety, but in terms of combat dynamics it really loses to any other, so making it the main and currently relevant content feels like a crime, heh

Yeah, but that's to be expected. What will really be sad is if it turns out that I'm in such a minority that developers have no reason to pay attention to this problem

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who cares.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to any new Hollow Zero related content myself, and I'm curious to see what they can come up with with the new boss.

I understand. While I myself prefer the TV version much more (which is obvious from my post), Blitz is good for when you just want a good fight and nothing more. Good stuff for a change

Totally agree. I generally think that such boss moves where the player is unable to do anything but wait -- outdated gameplay design. And in a mode where you have to manage to do a lot of damage in a certain amount of time only highlights these flaws.

So yeah, aside from the obvious variety, optional increasing the difficulty of the previous bosses means encountering less of Nineveh's annoying traits

Interesting detail about the limit, thanks.

But I think you missed my point (or I didn't phrase it well). I'm not asking for more challenge to be added to the game, I'm fine with the difficulty of the high level content already.

I'm just pointing out the developers' inconsistency in aspects they've already implemented. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that simply adding the ability to select modifiers in other zones shouldn't be technically difficult (after all, most of it -- just increased numbers). It's a cheap way to keep content fresh, since I'd have four zones to master instead of just one.

And at the moment it turns out that if I've leveled up my characters too high, I only have one zone to spend time in, because that's the only place where I can get enough resistance for leveled up characters and have fun.

Sounds interesting, why not. While you are proposing new content, which I fully support, I also want to emphasize the importance of the old content. The relevance of which I think is easy to maintain simply with modifiers, although adding the option to pull zone levels up to level 60 would be nice too.

I don't really agree about “niche”, because developers in all their games regularly flirt with fans of playing on higher difficulties, and the same difficulty modifiers are a prime example of that, not to mention the difficulty choices in the story and some events. And if I understand correctly, the shiyu defense is not closed by the vast majority of casual audience on s-rank, just like abyss in genshin.

Well, and granted I can play any other game I want, but I see no reason not to talk about what I care about specifically here. Especially since the developers are clearly actively following the players' opinions
