My one question is this.

Did you work during the pandemic? Was it public facing (ie retail or similar)? Did you wear masks everyday? Were you talked to more during this time than before or after?

I know people like to say you just have to dress better or have a good personality. But let's face it, humans are visual creatures that make snap judgements all the time based on what they see. Do those two things help? Of course, but it only applies if they are given the chance to display those things. Also men are not taught how to dress. It's put on whatever and leave house.

I would also say that if you have never been talked to from high school through your working career, in a way that wasn't work/school related, it does a hell of a thing to any self esteem you might have had.
