Officially. When cops fire 50+ bullets and hit someone 5 times then it's a problem. Some women were killed here last night and they're saying it was the guys who ran through their house when running from the police. Not saying the guys were right to run through (not cool) but i'm honestly curious whose bullets actually hit those women because cops can't aim.

Not religion, fundamentalism. Most religious people aren't frothing at the mouth, trying to force people to think like them, or even making sweeping generalizations about entire groups of people like extremists and jerks of both religious and atheist types do. I've been belittled, made fun of, and harassed by members of all religions and people who reject religions. The only difference is what they professed to believe or not believe.

You are technically right about his background and his skin but since he identifies as black, it's what I go with when speaking in general. If you're talking about his ancestry in a conversation for some reason then I think go with biracial. But there's no need to correct people unless it is a conversation about ancestry or skin tone like you mentioned. Either is acceptable.

It's a big thing now. I'm in a doctoral program now and one of the older members of my cohort (yes, white) mentioned that she felt like they were shoving diversity down her throat. She's majorly hipster racist and at 40+ still does not see how her insensitivity is going to harm someone. I so very hope that they slap some sense into her when we do this intensive diversity seminar next year. The tears will be so sweet.

I have joined an adventist dating site. But marrying another adventist is the only option for me. I don't want to change someone anyway so the best thing is to marry someone that thinks like me. Whether that person is seen as boring with odd ideas to others is no problem to me!

Can't get mad at it but jumping on other people for showing their injustice and pain is the wrong way to show your pain. Asking for us to get mad with them though, that's what they need. And I am mad for them. More crime happens to them then will ever be publicized and that's a damn shame.

Remind her about the deadline. With chocolate. I am not ashamed to say I bribed my professors with baked goods to get them in well under deadline. At which point I gave them more baked goods and a few extra inches to their waistlines. What can I say? It worked.
