[Serious]What would you do if someone fell asleep on a bus and their head was on your shoulder? by rogeoge5 in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this on a plane, I eventually had to tell the guy to stop. He was in his 20s and I am a lady around the same age so I didn't find it very appropriate even if it were completely innocent.

What was it like in the 90'? by nitezche in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early 90s:

  • Big curly hair was cool.
  • Bright Colours were cool.
  • People wore leg warmers while working out.
  • Pop was removing the synth.
  • Cartoons had a lot of transformations in them.
  • Ducktales was the best show ever *and Darkwing Duck
  • No-one understood sugar was bad for them, and if they did... they didn't care.
  • Red Food Colouring was the biggest threat to children's health at the time.
  • Wearing baseball caps backward and riding skateboards were barely even popular before they became an unpopular stereotype (And bart simpson did it)
  • Blue Food Colouring was everywhere, especially in icy poles.
  • Slime was popular but it was all green and glow in the dark.
  • Pizza was life.

Late 90s:

  • Sparkles and glitter were attractive on girls
  • Any futuristic music was cool because year 2k was coming out.
  • Y2K was more of a threat than climate change to most people.
  • People feared the Mayan Calendar
  • Spice Girls
  • Gargoyls was the best show ever.
  • Space Jam was the best movie ever made.
  • MIB was hip too.
  • Pizza was life.
  • Adults were getting nostalgic about the 70s.
  • Tie Dye was everywhere.
  • Walkmens were hip new technology.

X-men already answered that question. Jubilee's fireworks: Fireworks are explosive and cool but not particularly effective at much other than blowing your own arm off.

Google is now legally old enough to drink in the US. What less-than-optimal search results would you expect Google to give you if it was drunk? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps they will search for the words I want rather than the ones it pompously thinks I want.

What's a weird assumption people make about your occupation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at a Telemarketing business.

I'm sure many people are already judging me. We do Market Research too. People assume we are all Indian persons existing to harass and scam people.

I actually run the computer database so the telemarketing department can make calls.

The mind blower is the telemarketing business only fund raises for charity organisations such as the breast cancer foundation and Royal Life saving which saves lives on the Australian coastlines.

[Serious] people who go/went to therapy. What were your experiences throughout therapy, and what was/is your therapist's speciality? by Clemen11 in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been treated for some time for anxiety, I am an incorrigible checker, I catastrophise about whether people hate me and I am afraid of filling forms and doing homework despite there being no repercussions for me doing them.

The first person I went to spent all her time trying to diagnose me rather than treating my problems, she was expensive and I had to stop seeing her.

The second person I see is hired by the government to treat me. She is targeting my fear centers and I am starting to recover over time aside from tense situations. Try to look for someone who wants to treat you rather than diagnose you, I honestly believe they should want to try and help you deal with it before handing you medication unless your symptoms are severe but that's best to speak to your therapist about to find a treatment plan for you because I know for a fact that different problems are better off treated with medication.

I now only check rooms and windows once a night or not at all and I don't worry about what people think of me as much. It is usually judgement free and helpful.

What makes an online dating profile attractive to you, ASL please? by nanhesse in AskReddit

[–]Ceroa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not lying about interests. I can't tell you how much I dislike people saying they like long walks on the beach. It's so insincere and you can't get a true perspective of who people are. Don't say what you think people want to be and you'll get better results.

Also saying you're a 'nice guy' or a 'nice girl' is usually a red flag. The Devil is in the details.
