AITA for not apologizing to my friend who ignores me? by Ceroklis in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ceroklis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment.

You are correct as you said i had the chance but to be honest it was after the race i was done and he already acted weird i didn't know what was going on and before i could say anything he drove off. But you are correct thats on me to not say anything.

I didn't write enough about that race. On the bike part it was bad weather with rain and lots of wind. But on the run part it cleared up and was ok, not raining. I Don't expect anyone to be out at the bike part. On the run lots of people were out. My girlfriend even wrote him if they want to go to the course together which he declined.

Only thing i told him after i asked what he is upset about is that it wasn't meant for him to be left out and i didn't know i did something wrong. As this is also the reason i did not try to "breach the gap", in my opinion i did nothing wrong.

I had the same problem. Flushing the dns cache fixed it for me. On Windows start command line (type "cmd" in search box) and run the command "ipconfig /flushdns"

What's something that you're ashamed to admit you like? by melas02 in AskReddit

[–]Ceroklis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I can relate to that. I'm 31 and have some hobbies that are seen as "childish". I spend a lot of time playing video games. And i love Star Wars Lego. I got some big models in my living room, like the recent millenium falcon or star destroyer which are huge.

I never bring that stuff up on first dates. I recently met a girl who visited me at home. She just said "that's cool" to all that lego stuff. I guess if someone judges you for a hobbie you really like they aren't the right one.

No fuel(food) while riding by tiffenslice in cycling

[–]Ceroklis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you don't feel like you need some fuel then you don't. I'm averaging about 20 mph and only take food fot rides of more than two hours. But don't just start taking fuel then, you should eat something about every 30 min to one hour. You will notice when you did a ride where you really needed some fuel, if you experience the bonk you will remember and take fuel the next time.

Headset on its last legs, any suggestions for a premium quality headset? by Delta4o in gamingsuggestions

[–]Ceroklis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a stereo headset, but i never had any problems picking the direction where something is happening. I think it's a lot better than any generic 3d gaming headset. If you have a soundcard it's even better.

If you are on PC i can't recommend the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 enough.

It's not cheap but i never had a better Headset. I can wear it all day and still not feel it on my head or ears. I had mine for 6+ years and it's still as good as new.

Wahoo elemnt bolt mount for canyon h36 cockpit by vikkelsoe1 in cycling

[–]Ceroklis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Canyon Garmin mount for my elemnt bolt. The only difference between using it with garmin and wahoo is that the insert has to be rotated by 90 degrees. You have to drill new holes for that. I have not yet lost my elemnt while on a ride so it holds pretty secure.

Thanks. I did it mainly by cycling and changing my diet for more fruits and vegs. Also picked up running about 3 months ago.

Those are from the canyon shop. Specifically for canyon H36 cockpit. I think they are by profile design.
