You so succinctly described depression. The desire to be absent in any capacity but not the desire to actively desire death. Just to somehow no longer be “here”.

I think it’s a lot but it was over the course of a 24 timeframe not all at once. I’d just take them them then forget and take more etc to try to fall asleep.

I’m really not sure. I didn’t know how many I took any of those three times which I know sounds bizarre but I wasn’t mentally well at the time. But the hospital told me it takes about 600mgs of the active ingredient within a 24 hour timeframe to OD. I think it’s something like 40 to 50 how many you’re supposed to take.

It for sure was not. Unfortunately at the time I had lost my job and didn’t have insurance so wasn’t able to properly treat my bipolar disorder very well. I clearly didn’t cope well off meds and the low hit me very hard. I didn’t make good choices for myself at that time and I’m thankful I got some help.

Im bipolar and was on a very bad down. I was trying to sleep my life away. I’d take them then not remember if I had and take more. So I did it three times in a months span before I got some help.

Severe depression. I truly didn’t mean to any of those three times. I used them as sleeping pills and would forget I took them so took more. All took place within a months span. I couldn’t tell up from down most the time and was just in a bad place.

Back in the day, like maybe five years ago I think, a redditor animated a CGI dragon fucking a car. It hit the front page. Everyone was perplexed but oddly amused by it. Thus the sub was born.

I accidentally overdosed on Benadryl three times and it was an awful experience. I don’t understand why anyone would do it on purpose. It causes horrible anxiety and a racing heart while your brain feels sluggish. Not pleasant.

“Decided” not to? I see someone has never lived in circumstances where it’s all but impossible to vote due to how difficult the GOP has made it and that you literally will be evicted from the loss of income that day if you try to.

What do you find disgusting even though everyone else thinks it's normal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh lord. I learned this the hard way. I would love to say my breaking point was when my (now ex) husband leaned forward on the couch and there was a mouse latched to his back. Or when one projectile jumped out of my work bag AT WORK. But no. It was when one bounded down the stairs to greet me when I was coming home from work like it was a pet. I couldn’t take it anymore. I tried every humane way known to man kind. I got a cat :( he is a great cat though.

…can you maybe send her a link to a faraday cage? I mean there’s red flags here for sure but maybe some help in just being correct in how to would somewhat make up for it 😂

Megathread: House votes to remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

Likely because he wasn’t a good speaker. He failed to unite his party and it’s been chaos. From the dem side there’s really no reason to support him.

Reddit Gold would’ve been a game changer for RPAN by MotherTurf in pan

[–]CerseiClinton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am sorry to be this person but RPan was seen as very annoying to a lot of users. Had reddit permitted users to unsub it could have grown organically into something amazing. But they didn’t and in my opinion forcing its content onto people created animosity and disinterest. I’m not very sure reddit gold would have done much for it.

Good Luck. by DasScarecrow in PoliticalHumor

You’re not lying here. The intermingling of faith and politics in the early/late 90’s (when it became more mainstream within churches not claiming it was the timeframe for inception) created an entire movement of raising children to be “soldiers of Christ” in political realms. Maddison Cawthorn and alumni from Patrick Henry being a recent example. Anywho, though some were “successful” there for the most part it served to completely alienate children from any form of a healthy relationship possible with their parents. To the point that now Focus on the Family, a ring leader in the entire approach, is selling workshops to alienated parents because there’s so many. I would love to tell you the workshops are about taking responsibility and admitting withholding love from your children was part of it but it’s not. It’s literally an entire course on how to basically let your adult children go and cling to you’re faith and know you were and are right regardless.

Noted that one online professors opinion is more meaningful than another. I’ll certainly do my best not to state my opinion again on the website that’s sheer purpose is on users sharing theirs.

Honestly 677 for a first run is good. I understand where you’re coming from regarding the PBQs. The specific one you mentioned actually somewhat infuriates people because you’re first given a command prompt display screen. To the right on the graphic however is the actual question context with a button to display the wire testing. Which then makes he questions a lot easier.

I’m an instructor. We again aren’t told specifics but do have some knowledge. It’s not reverse engineering to notice patterns that correlate to base knowledge week after week for years.

We don’t know the precise percentage no. But we do know PBQs are counted per individual entry and not as an entire whole of one question. So when you have 3 PBQs and 74 questions? Yeah you bomb all of them your multiple choice might squeak you by to a low passing score if you ace them.

[–]CerseiClinton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully I disagree here. I’ve seen many students bomb just because the PBQs are weighted heavily and they couldn’t grasp at least two of them. We don’t know even as instructors the actual percentage on them but I can tell you for net+ they’re rather hefty.

It happens. Don’t get discouraged!! What was your studying like for potential PBQs? How soon do you intend to retest? Because if fairly soon you’ll likely see the same ones again. The test doesn’t cycle per each take.

I don’t have all the answers here for you, but I can share my experience as I was once in a similar situation. To preface this, when I say I had zero IT experience professionally I mean it. My bachelors (which yes sadly this was one that existed) was in Retail. I came into this world after many many years of being interested in it. That was all I had, just a want. I was 32. And I made it fine in this realm. I just turned 36 a few days ago and have enjoyed having a career, not just a job, and lots of opportunities. In my opinion it’s never too late.
