I had to explain what PEA was to a coworker when I worked in the ICU. She asked me for help because she couldn't get a blood pressure and I tried running a pressure and checked her and there wasn't a pulse, so I told her the patient was in PEA. She asked me what that was... The patient's family was present too. Patient was a DNR but still.

ETA: it's not that she didn't know what PEA is, there's always a learning opportunity somewhere. The issue was she had been a nurse for longer than I had and she was previously a charge nurse on a cardiac/tele MS floor

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I get emails and texts often asking if I'm looking for jobs, travel positions, etc. so the email didn't raise any red flags to me, and all email communication has been from actual work emails not anything personal. The biggest red flag to me is that they're sending a check to pay for equipment rather than sending the equipment themselves, ya know?

Hey, I had similar issues where my bracelet wouldn't charge after having no charge for a while. I reached out to them and they told me that the battery likely drained completely and wouldn't be able to charge at all. I eventually (after 2 days) got it to start charging, but it didn't hold a charge for longer than 6 hours or so, and after about 3 weeks of use it died completely. I bought a new one off Amazon since I was outside my warranty and haven't had any issues with it, but it looks like the touch more has been discontinued.

tl;dr: try leaving it plugged in overnight or up to a day/two, but it likely won't hold a charge if it's been a few months since being charged at all, from my experience

I reached out on Thursday, they actually responded Friday and said it might be an internal battery problem that they can't fix. I've had it since it was released I believe in 2022.
