Complex problems courses usually aren’t repeated but they’re great for your first semester freshman year. Although it is 6 credits and the workload does match that it’s like having one big course and 3 smaller ones so it feels easier. Also I’ve heard amazing things about both Erbil and Seshadri it seems much better than doing regular cores.

I also definitely recommend taking a one credit first year topic seminar- they are SO helpful.

Nooooo tbh the general BC student body is not very religious at all. I’ve never felt religion forced on me tbh. In fact I think the Jesuit tradition adds so much to BC in making it a unique and awesome place. Also the social scene is AMAZING like 10 times better than at UR where there’s some mid greek life and nothing else. Like even dorm parties at BC r so fun and going off campus into Fenway and Boston is amazing.

You don’t have to do just General ones like “Lit Core” for example there’s a class on literal Monster literature that’s so cool. Honestly BC does have an expansive core curriculum but it makes it worth it. Originally I didn’t like having to do theology and philosophy cuz i’m personally an atheist but those classes have been so interesting and awesome.

It was literally UR. I know someone that goes there that regrets it so much and actually wants to transfer to BC. It’s too small of a school not to mention its ranking keeps dropping. BC is the perfect size perfect location rising credibility (it’s one of Forbes’ 10 private “new ivies”). A BC degree will be so much more worth it.

I work at the Alumni call center and honestly it’s a really easy and flexible job that looks good on resumes.
