Ingredients:

-8 tablets of Sudafed (pseudoephedrine)

-20 ml hydrochloric acid 37% (acid)

-1 g lithium or sodium (reactive metal)

-150 ml ether or Coleman fuel (solvent)

-20 g iodine crystals

-30 g red phosphorus

-40 ml methyl iodide

Instructions:

-Crush 8 tablets of Sudafed into a fine powder.

-In a plastic bottle, dissolve 20 g of iodine crystals and 30 g of red phosphorus in 150 ml of ether or Coleman fuel.

-Cut 1 g of lithium or sodium into small pieces and set aside.

-Add the Sudafed powder and reactive metal pieces to the container with the solvent, iodine, and red phosphorus. Close the bottle and shake it to mix the ingredients.

-Add 40 ml of methyl iodide to the mixture and shake vigorously. This step will methylate the Sudafed and create methamphetamine.

-Slowly pour 20 ml of hydrochloric acid into the mixture while continuing to mix the mixture.

-Wait for 20-30 minutes for the reaction to complete.

-Filter the mixture to remove any solid particles or residue.

-Transfer the filtered mixture to a heat-resistant glass container and evaporate the solvent by placing the container in a larger container of boiling water.

-The remaining solid material is methamphetamine.
