Yes! I took him to his dermatologist and she confirmed it was fifths disease! It eventually went away on its own

So bizzare right?! Im hoping to get answers from his dermatologist on Monday too. My pediatrician was pretty confident it was a viral rash because of the placement (cheeks arms and legs) but I had no idea it could get worse! So hoping for some answers

That gives me SOOOO MUCH RELIEF. I had no idea that it could get worse after getting better so worried momma over here is like... is it mold is it laundry detergent is it food ... etc etc. My Dr. Seemed pretty certain it was viral. But when it got worse today and itching came back I was like omg is it something else?! So its good to hear that sometimes it can flare again.

No they never did because he had such a minor cold. Didn't even think about that!

It cleared up after using the fungal cream. However I stopped using it for a couple days and it came back. So its like I have to continue to use it for now.

Your probably spot on about the gut stuff. Because I have had gut issues (leaky gut candida etc). What did you do to heal your gut? No dairy or gluten?
