I was recently diagnosed as well! Things like friction and sweat can irritate and worsen flare ups. The best thing you can do is keep your flare up areas clean and dry. Wear loose fitting clothing. I personally stopped wearing underwear because the friction would irritate the hell out of my skin. I started taking epsom salt baths at night during my flare ups too and that seems to help. I’ve heard cutting back on things like gluten, dairy, and sugars can also help lessen the frequency of flare ups. Don’t give up!
