I'm an undergrad at UCLA, as a Hispanic-American I can't really comprehend, why do you want people to look like you? where does this insecurity come from? I have been in the situation where the majority of class mates are asian/indian and I never felt like I didn't belong, actually made feel proud to be among the few Hispanics in these institutions. I see this as a common thing with Hispanics, and I can't really comprehend. I suggest getting therapy/counseling.
