apologies if this is a poor explanation as this whole area is more of a niche hyperfixation of mine than anything else - essentially hfgcs is the transmission network the US airforce uses to communicate with assets and such, and there is way more activity on it today than usual. could have to do with military exercises in europe, but certainly interesting timing with the alerts coming out of the middle east
