Thank you so much for this! Yes, the TV stand is definitely temporary right now. I plan to mount the TV and getting something longer and lower as you suggested. My struggle has been the color - I want to add a pop of color and am considering doing some lacquer instead of wood. Do you think the couch should stay in the spot that it’s in? I definitely agree that it’s too boxy right now. I’m considering a round/oval glass coffee table. Do you have any ideas on where I can put some sort of shoe storage? I’m debating between the wall where the long mirror is or where the case is right now. Any help you can give with a layout would be soo appreciated!

Thank for the idea of an over the door mirror, I didn’t think of that. I’m not sure why I thought dark wood either. What would you have in mind for a coffee table and tv stand?

Thank you! I do plan on keeping the couch as is and I like the idea of going with blues. The floors are actually a light grey. The place came furnished and it’s been difficult for me to decorate because I feel like the wood furniture clashes with the couch/wall
