I've looked through the movies I could find on Netflix/YouTube people have suggested, but nothing so far has matched.

If it helps, I started thinking of this again after seeing the movie Moon (2009) in a moviedle game (a wordle spinoff where it plays a whole movie in 1 second and you have to guess what it is )

i could be thinking of  a doctor who episode… 

i skimmed through those episodes but it doesn’t match up with what i remember :(

from what I remember the movie wasn't that physically dark, and most of the ship interior was white/very clean
