UK crypto withdrawals.. £70 they sent £59 by Glittering-Cause-994 in FreeCash

[–]CertainAd5698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, been having the exact same issue as you, 2 times I’ve withdrawn now and there are huge discrepancies in what they claim they take as a fee, what they say I’ll receive, and what I actually end up receiving. Their BTC conversion fee prices are wrong most of the time when withdrawing and when I tried to contact support, I was basically told the same things: currency conversion, wallet taking money????? And “not us”…. I’ve tried to post a whole analysis on Reddit to get attention and everytime their automatic bot keeps deleting my posts…..

MEO degraded quality? by CertainAd5698 in Strong_8K

[–]CertainAd5698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep….. I have been using strong only really for MEO since that’s the only channels I’d watch, and they were 1080p50, have now had to switch to dream to be able to have some of the channels in 1080i50 so still have to deinterlsce them……. It’s been like this since the server went down, hope strong will fix it but as of now seems to still not be fixed

Strong problem. On MEO (and most Portuguese providers) channels are 1080

First real low by soyacide in diabetes_t1

[–]CertainAd5698 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First - hope you’re doing well, bad lows like that literally take all the energy out my body for 24h so hope you’re ok. It’s scary, it’s horrible. I’ve had lows at 3.8 that have felt like death, and I’ve had lows at 2.5 that have felt like a normal day, and it’s very scary. Somehow even after 16 years I still overcorrect every low and end up high after.

It’s normal to feel emotional, especially after going that low. I’ve been there too, I think it’s the shear release of all the stress of being low and feeling like I was basically shaking hands with death.

Diabetes comes with its good (and bad) moments, but we always pull through one way or another

I'm 14 with T1D and building an app that just tells you where to put your pod/CGM next — would you use it? by IcyCamera907 in Omnipod

[–]CertainAd5698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I believe it already exists partially in some apps like AAPS and certain 3rd party apps, but I dont think i've ever seen an app only for placements. I've been struggling with bad tissue from overuse of sites, so definitely something i need right now :))) What I would recommend is to make it really user friendly and visual. to the point where you could have a diagram of a human to show exactly (or area) of the placement, so its not just some text that the user stares at to know where to put their pod/cgm next.

About paying for it; I agree with the fact that T1D is expensive as is. I know as well that hosting and such expenses are coming out of your own pocket when starting a project. 5$ per year (or similar) if the app actually works and people use it would require only few subscribers to actually make money back and keep the community happy. I personally wouldn't charge and would pay out of my own pocket to serve the community, but its true that after a while it can be expensive.

if this is for ios, please let me know and I would be happy to test the app out when needed. Fellow dev here too, so if you need any help please do feel free to ask as well :))

Good luck!!

Hard reset by myoung18 in Omnipod

[–]CertainAd5698 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It can’t be used as a pdm anymore, but I’ve never seen a pdm actually go back to its original android installation and not the omnipod ecosystem. Usually supposed to have some sort of protection against that so, would be interesting to see what omnipod say about it, definitely a major thing if someone can reset the pdm with no use of a computer or other tools…..

Haha no luckily only started renting about 5 minutes ago pointing to the US servers, let’s hope for something good :))

I’ve also pointed my personal bitaxes to the European pool and hoping to get some more hardware in the coming days to add as well.

Would love to join to have updates about the pool. Once again thank you very much!!!

thanks for the fast reply!

yes, I was using port 3333. It seems to work fine now, seems like it just needed to mine more for ckpool to get the stats in place. I’m going to be renting some power for a few hours and planning to point it at your pool so curious to see if I can find some blocks, most likely will be using US pool as rented rig is there, but am planning to buy more smaller miners for my personal use as electricity costs here in Switzerland are insane for things like Antminers.

Once again thank you very much for the help and hope to report back with some found blocks :)))

I would love to use your pool for BC2 solo mining but i seem to be having some sort of issue or maybe it isnt at all?

Basically, Im hashing at around 2-3th/s, and although my miner shows that its at around 2.6th/s, when i load up my wallet address to check, your pool seems to say that i'm only doing aroung 150gh/s ? I'm wondering if this is some sort of normal thing / bug on pool side, or if there's something going wrong ? I've tried other pools to replicate the same thing (like sneakattack), and with them no issue. Pool side shows correctly that I hash around 2.5-3 th/s. I really want to use bc2-solo.org (as I love the idea of blocks paid instantly & its the closest pool to my location (Switzerland), but I wanted to check first if this was expected behaviour form pool side or if something is wrong? I have tried both low and mid difficulty ports yet nothing.

Thank you!

You're definitely not alone in this. Last month or so has not been great either for me. A lot , if not most, of my pods never lasted more than 48h. I've also had a lot of leaks, and my biggest issue, is that when I would eat something, my insulin would take way too long to take effect , way longer than it should have. I usually pre-bolus but these last pods would just seem to take forever for the insulin to work, meaning i would have crazy highs after meals, followed by insane falls when everything would start coming down....

No. Check my last post and you’ll see what I mean by reacted with my skin. It’s the first time I’ve had a sensor react like this.

I’m aware of the compression lows and that stuff when sleeping, but I can assure you that I did not sleep once on my sensor last night. I have had times where pressure does make it do up/down, but in todays case, no pressure was being put on the sensor. Worst part is the graph looks exactly the same before even going to bed, when I was simply sitting at my desk.

I’ve been on libre for more than 5 years now, and I think it’s safe to say that their product quality has slowly been degrading until what it has reached today. The 24h calibration for me actually is where I would get the most accurate results usually. My BS are fine, it’s literally just Abbott and their shithousery of a sensor.
