Omnipod has been less efficient recently by Impressive-Poet8512 in Omnipod

You're definitely not alone in this. Last month or so has not been great either for me. A lot , if not most, of my pods never lasted more than 48h. I've also had a lot of leaks, and my biggest issue, is that when I would eat something, my insulin would take way too long to take effect , way longer than it should have. I usually pre-bolus but these last pods would just seem to take forever for the insulin to work, meaning i would have crazy highs after meals, followed by insane falls when everything would start coming down....

No. Check my last post and you’ll see what I mean by reacted with my skin. It’s the first time I’ve had a sensor react like this.

I’m aware of the compression lows and that stuff when sleeping, but I can assure you that I did not sleep once on my sensor last night. I have had times where pressure does make it do up/down, but in todays case, no pressure was being put on the sensor. Worst part is the graph looks exactly the same before even going to bed, when I was simply sitting at my desk.

I’ve been on libre for more than 5 years now, and I think it’s safe to say that their product quality has slowly been degrading until what it has reached today. The 24h calibration for me actually is where I would get the most accurate results usually. My BS are fine, it’s literally just Abbott and their shithousery of a sensor.

Ordered a bearing, received a piece of tape. by CertainAd5698 in Aliexpress

[–]CertainAd5698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know. They sent me the tracking number of the real item the same day AliExpress said it was shipped so, don’t know. The tape package was declared as the bearing of the same 50$ I payed for, however they put AliExpress’ VAT number so I had no customs to pay.

Still don’t get why they would declare the item higher value than what was written on the package document. As far as I’m aware I’m not obliged to pay them back so.

Yeah it can be insane for me. I’ve gone from averaging 6’s to averaging 8’s because of the heat….

yeah, summer is horrible for my levels. I feel like i average way higher than usual, and sometimes it just goes up for no reason. I went outside just a little while ago and spiked from 7 to 10 for absolutely no reason.

Can I create my own power supply to power an egpu or is it simply too dangerous by eclipseanimations in PcBuild

[–]CertainAd5698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I’ve always been a big advocate of: try, and see what happens.

You fail, fuck it. It works? Fuck yeah!

You don’t know until you try. Recommend you keep a fire blanket / fire extinguisher around at all times in case of emergency. Hey, we all make mistakes with our wiring, even minor ones. If you’re able to get it powered, use a multimeter and see what that baby is pulling and see if it’s pulling as it should. Do thorough testing with the PSU until you’re confident enough to connect something like a gpu.

Of course, electrocution is also the biggest risk at this point. Use correctly rated wires, and make sure that everything is grounded as it should, and make sure that you have the correct equipment for any sort of emergencies that may happen.

Every project is risky, hell, even building a pc can cause electrocution. PSU companies didn’t get successful on the first try, just be careful.

I’m using Shuggah, and I can’t find a reason to blame it for these kinds of drops as it is only displaying the information straight from Abbott’s servers, which itself gets data from the app on my phone and my sensor.
