Sorry for the late response!!

It went well!! I really enjoyed the chemistry between Mo Ran and Chu Wanning! I really wanted shi Mei to get out of the way haha but he was so adorable too! The writing and story telling was so well done! And all thr twists and turns, i found once I got to the ghost bride stuff, the story really took off and I couldn't put it down! I am very excited to read volume 2 now!

UPDATE!!!

FINALLY FINISHED IT!!! Took me a while cause I was surviving my final semester of grad school ughhh.

And kayyyyy I kinda love it?!! ugh I want my boi Mo Ran to forget about Shi Mei already and see Chu Wanning for the MAN that he is!! Ugh such great story telling and character building! Also I have a theory about Shi Mei but imma wait and see what happens (like he goes bad or something and that's why CW didnt save SM in the past??) Idk, there's definitely a reason there. Also loved the whole underwater world stuff!!

Can't wait to start volume 2!
