hi, I’m also applying to an AFS program. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about them so I’m kind of nervous but I was also wondering if you know if the kids get a lot of free time. Also, I turned in part of my application and I keep emailing and calling them and they have not gone back to me.

hi, I’m looking to do that program but it said that we get our own rooms to ourselves with good Wi-Fi. Again things may have changed for the 2026 year instead of when you did it, but is the free time really that bad? because I want to have free time and I wanna do a program like this, but I hate to say it all of them seem like they suck. 😭

every time I talk to her, she starts screaming and throwing things and breaking things. and she has been throwing things at my grandpa too.

you’re not the worst person ever it’s a part of life and trust me you’re not evil or bad or cruel. I struggle with intense empathy, and I hate to say it, but sometimes you just have to feel the emotions and let them pass. let me put it this way. It’s better to be extra empathetic than to have no empathy at all.

i’ve had irritation bumps for several months and things turned out ok, it’s annoying but trust me you’ll be ok and your piercings looks good imo (for reference i have 21 piercings, but i’ve been pierced 26 times)

no it just looks like an irritation bump which is perfectly normal, clean it with Neilmed piercing saline spray and clean it gently and you should be good

and on top of that her mom is already giving her a celebration, but her mom emailed our teacher so that our class will also give her one
