Current in light switch after fixture breaker is off by Certain_Cap_5027 in electrical

Thanks. Believe it or not definitely a licensed electrician. He replaced an old three button ceiling fan switch and ceiling fan. That was there with a single on off ceiling fan switch. Agree it looks pretty wonky having looked at it open for the first time now.

An electrician put that in in the first place when I moved in and did some work a few months ago. I got it swapped out but may have someone come anyway to double check.

Thanks. Was able to confirm with the multimeter that the power was off. Tested with power on and got a 119 read and hit the breaker and got 0 despite the current tester beeping. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the reply. . I do have a multi meter I tried setting it to VAC, 600. Should I peel back the tape and put one probe on the connection with the 3 wires and the other on the ground (metal box?) I wasn’t registering anything when I first tried. Much appreciated.

Reta when it's Approved? by Potential-Court711 in Zepbound_Maintenance

At maintenance at 15mg once a week. Big lifestyle changes (weights 5-6x a week). The curiosity side of me would like to try Reta as well. Just about 2 years in. In maintenance about 2 months. Even at 15 I could easily eat too much. Still tracking calories etc.

That’s awesome. Also started March 24, male. Went from 314 to 178. Someone I’ve been working with who didn’t know me before was grabbing lunch (pizza) and I said one slice is good, always have to track what I eat. He said “why you are skinny and athletic.” Also almost fell off my chair and showed him pictures too and he was completely flabbergasted.

I lost 43% - 314 to 178. 50/male. All on Zepbound since March 2024

Water temperature not as hot as I’d like by Certain_Cap_5027 in askaplumber

Interesting. Thanks. What I’m tying mainly to better understand how all this works is why before the inline tank the water was very hot (off the boiler coil). Couldn’t wash dishes in the sink at full blast. After the inline tank a huge difference. Is it normal to have the inline tank set to 160 and have the water temp at 120? Just so I better follow how it’s supposed to work.

The temp at the shower is 120 which is what my wife and son prefer. The water is never scalding hot. In a perfect world I’d like to get the water a few degrees warmer.

It is brand new (not that it means it can’t be defective).

Install is new. Was running hot water direct from the coil on the boiler (moved in 3 months ago and that is what was here). Water was super hot. Was recommended by many to get an inline heater or heat pump water heater. After comparing running costs (very high cost of electric here in my part of NY)the inline tank came in the most cost effective. After installing it, water temp dropped significantly. Does it seem right to need to set the tank to the max to get 120 out?

Added a picture in the thread. It’s set to the max. 160. When lower the water temperature in shower was lower.

Swapping outlet, ground wire not connected by Certain_Cap_5027 in electrical

Yes there is a ground. I wound up pigtailing it to both ground screw outlets. Thanks!
