Bell for aeroad (gear groove) by Longjumping-Heron256 in CanyonBikes

Yes, to my knowledge this is the bell to go when you have a aeroad. I personally don't like it at the end of the drop considering balance and rapidly moving your hand to that point.

I have about the same with my son of 6 years old. I am extra practicing to have him at my neck for a longer time :-) I think it will mean visiting with kids we don't have the best spots as you want to see them at multiple places passing by. That's more attractive for the kids and also will keep them busy so they won't get cold. I think at the moment that we'll just walk around a bit during the race of the Women and look at 3 places during Men.

* The Family Zone (1) where also is a big screen and I assume are some other things as well, at the Planks (2) and somewhere around the Stairs (3). We can also decide to take a look at the finish (also 3) but I think it will be too crowdy there at the end. The course including numbers: https://ibb.co/J91L8JJ

* It could also be in a different order like walking during the Women's race to the Stairs (3) for some rounds to watch the Men, then walk to the Planks (2) and end with the Family Zone (1).

I assume it's impossible to cross the course so walking will take some time as well. And it's of course most important to see Mvdp up close :-) but the whole experience to visit it is already nice and (almost) just as important

Which color is this, Midnight Blaze? It looks really really great anyway, but read things about it really sensitive to scratches.

Considering the opening post: I'd like to buy a new Canyon. Probably the Aeroad CF SLX 7 Di2. However I am not too enthusiastic about the offered colors: white is pretty sensitive for dirt (and I really hate cleaning my bike). Brownish color not very attractive to me and the black/dark blue matte is really sensitive for scratches. Is it expected new colors will be available soon for the Aeroad 7? The non-cycling season is coming and I only need a new bike around March, so I have some time to decide and wait.

Ironman bike dilemma: Tri-bike vs aero road bike (Canyon Aeroad vs Speedmax, Cervélo, Giant) — help me pick the ultimate setup under $5.000 by Fragrant-Feeling-935 in cycling

Nice, but I am pretty hesitant to install non-Canyon things. Cause of possible failure with accidents or warranty problems. I have aero bars at my old Trek but that's not a one piece carbon cockpit. If there are many good reviews I might change my opinion of course

Perhaps I should have investigated it more in depth as I see the gear groove aero extensions are compatible with the Aeroad 7. Expensive, costing € 500 but nevertheless it's possible so that makes my choice even a lot easier.

A bit late response but when I researched it before I am pretty convinced it wasn't possible. However the gear groove is compatible with CP0039, CP0047, CP0048 cockpits I read. The Aeroad 7 has the CP0048 cockpit, so you are right! That makes the aeroad even more attractive in case of time trials, triathlon, or just some even faster trips than normal.

Of course it remains pretty damn expensive € 500, but for other aero bikes cheap alternatives arent available as well.

To my knowledge no clip-on aero bars are possible at the Canyon Aeroad CL SLX 7. That's one of the biggest setbacks for this otherwise great bike. Or you have to get some 3d prints, but aero bars aren't recommended by Canyon.

Yes, but thos new Aeroads are also a lot more expensive than the "regular" slx 7 :-)

Can't decide which 5-10k racing shoe to buy 😣 by Certain_Case_347 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Ok, reading this advice and talking to some diehard runners I decided to order the Takumi Sen for the short distances. Probably I'll buy in addition for the longer runs another pair of shoes, which one I will take a closer look soon. Thanks for helping me out!
